Josh Reddick went 1-for-4 with three RBI in Tuesday's win over the Rangers. Reddick delivered an RBI groundout in the second inning before coming through with a bases-loaded single in the fifth. Reddick also stole his first base of the year in that five-run fifth inning. The numbers still aren't great, but Reddick has shown some signs of life at the plate recently.

Reddick capped off a three-run A's rally in the bottom of the ninth inning with his game-ending RBI single to center field. He also had two other singles on the afternoon, finishing 3-for-5. This after going 3-for-4 with a two-run homer on Friday night.

Josh Reddick will not be optioned to Triple-A. There was some speculation that Reddick could be sent down to make room on the roster for Craig Gentry (back), but he was seen taking early batting practice Friday. Reddick has just three singles in his first 29 at-bats this season and is not in the lineup Friday for the second straight game.

The slugger only hit 12 homers last season due to wrist problems, but Reddick hopes off-season surgery allows him to bounce back and hit 32 homers like he did in 2012.

Josh Reddick was removed from Friday's Cactus League contest against the Giants for what is being called "contact lens complications." Well, that's a first. Of course if it were a regular season game, Reddick would've likely found a way to remain in the game. The 27-year-old is having a nice spring, slashing .333/.359/.500 with a homer and 10 RBI and looks like a nice bounce-back candidate in 2014.

Reddick underwent off-season wrist surgery and his hoping to recapture the form that allowed him to slug 32 home runs in 2012.

Josh Reddick said on MLB Network Radio on Sirius XM on Monday that his surgically-repaired right wrist is now 100 percent. Reddick underwent arthroscopic surgery on his wrist at the end of October, but he completed his rehab 10 days ago and will enter spring training with no restrictions. It's fair to wonder if he'll need some time before his power resurfaces, but he makes for a solid buy-low in the late rounds of mixed league fantasy drafts this spring.
