Reddick agreed to a one-year, $4.1 million contract with the Athletics on Friday, Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports. Reddick finished the 2014 season with a decent stat line, batting .264/.316/.446 with 12 home runs and 54 RBI. Following the trade of Brandon Moss in the offseason, the appears to be pretty well locked in with Sam Fuld in left Coco Crisp in center, and Reddick in right, with Craig Gentry backing up all three.

Reddick was 2-for-4 with three RBI and a homer in Friday night's win over the Rangers. Reddick continues to put together a strong second half with eight homers and a .842 OPS in 176 at-bats. Reddick was banged up the first half and that (plus his poor 2013) will keep his price down in 2015 drafts. He could be a sneaky value for power late in drafts after two down seasons where he was not totally healthy in either one. This is a guy who did hit 32 homers in his last healthy season.

Reddick returned to the lineup on Saturday and went 2-for-3. Reddick had two singles on Saturday and his only out was a hard hit ball to the warning track. It appears that he is good to go after his scary fall on Wednesday night. After a very rough first half, Reddick has come around in the second half with seven homers and .811 OPS over 155 at-bats.

Reddick (ankle) is back in the lineup Saturday against the Phillies. Despite ankle soreness and a neck issue that bothers him when he swings, Reddick will return to the lineup after missing just two starts. Jerome Williams, Saturday's starter for Philadelphia, won't be happy to see Reddick in there, as Reddick is 6-for-14 with two doubles and a homer against him in his career.

Reddick (ankle/neck) has a neck issue that bothers him when he swings, and he will not take BP Friday as a result but will be available if needed, MLB.com's Jane Lee reports. Reddick had an MRI on his ankle Wednesday, but is obviously being bothered by multiple injuries at this point. He was out of the lineup for the past two days, and will sit again Friday, as Sam Fuld will again start in right field with Brandon Moss in left.

Reddick underwent an MRI on his injured left ankle Thursday, Joe Stiglich of CSN California reports. The 27-year-old is also dealing with neck soreness after tumbling over the first base bag Wednesday night, but the ankle injury is of utmost concern. Fortunately, his MRI came back clean, but Reddick will not be available in any capacity Thursday and it sounds like the team could give him several more days to recover.

Reddick is out of the lineup Thursday due to left ankle soreness, Joe Stiglich of CSN California reports. Reddick singled in a pinch-hit appearance Wednesday night but tumbled over the first base bag and hurt the ankle. He'll be examined by trainers prior to Thursday's early-afternoon affair, as the team looks to see if he can be an option off the bench.

Reddick is out of the lineup Thursday against the Rangers. Reddick will sit for a second straight day, this time against a right-hander in Nick Martinez. While Reddick is batting just .205 so far in September, he's still sitting with a .265/.314/.497 line since the All-Star break, and will likely continue to play regularly against right-handed pitching.

Reddick is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Rangers. The platoon-conscious Athletics will have Reddick take a seat against Rangers lefty Derek Holland, as Jonny Gomes steps into his spot in the outfield. Reddick is just 1-for-9 for his career against Holland.

Reddick is out of the lineup Friday against the Mariners, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. Once again, manager Bob Melvin has stacked his lineup with right-handed bats with another lefty on the hill for the opposition. Reddick is just 5-for-35 against Saturday's starter Felix Hernandez, so he could end up sitting out a third straight day.
