The 23-year-old could be a deserving of an appointment closer to the middle of the lineup in 2016, and if health permits, he could be one of the most valuable fantasy commodities at second base.

Schoop (knee) went 1-for-5 with a solo home run Sunday in his first game back from the DL. He touched up lefty Carlos Rodon in his first plate appearance since Apr. 17, and while Schoop wasn't able to get anything going in his other four trips, he was also credited with an RBI on a fielder's choice in the seventh inning. Schoop now has four homers in just 10 games this season (32 at-bats). It looks like he will serve as the primary second baseman moving forward, with Ryan Flaherty sent back to the minors.
