Nelson struggled again Saturday, getting rocked for seven runs on 10 hits and two walks over five innings, striking out three.
His record fell to 3-7, and his ERA rose to 4.60, after another clunker of a start. Nelson's got talent, but until he can develop some consistency he's best kept away from your active fantasy roster. He'll next take the mound on Thursday, on the road in Kansas City.

Nelson struck out five and walked two while giving up seven runs -- six earned -- over five innings in a losing effort against the Cardinals on Wednesday.
A five-run first inning was the main blemish for Nelson, who at least rebounded to salvage a Brewers bullpen that had to deal with a 17-inning game Sunday against Arizona. Nelson fell behind hitters too often Wednesday, throwing a first-pitch strike to 13 of the 25 batters he faced. The big difference for Nelson overall this season has been an increased walk rate (3.3 BB/9) after he showed signs of ironing out his control woes last season in a 14-game stretch with Milwaukee. He'll face the Pirates on Monday at PNC Park before a June 13 turn against the Nationals at home.

Nelson allowed four runs on seven hits, he did not walk a hitter and struck out eight over six innings, and came away with a no-decision as the Brewers fell 7-5 to Arizona on Friday night.
While he did not walk a batter, he was not very efficient, needing 103 pitches (73 for strikes) to complete six innings. Nelson has done a reasonably good job posting a 3.90 ERA for a team that has struggled through the first two months of the season. However, he is going to need to pitch deeper into games more consistently to maximize opportunities for wins.

Nelson earned a no-decision on Sunday against the Cubs, allowing three runs over 6.2 innings with two walks and six strikeouts.
It wasn't his greatest outing, but the quality start was a nice bounce-back for the righty, who was torched for seven runs in just 2.1 innings in his previous start. Nelson is next scheduled to take on this same Cubs team at home on Friday.

Nelson gave up just one earned run over eight innings but did not factor into the decision in Wednesday's loss to the Reds. He gave up just three hits and posted a 5:2 K:BB ratio in the game.
Nelson cruised after giving up a run in the first inning, but the Brewers could not muster more than a run off Reds ace Johnny Cueto, and Nelson was unable to pick up his second win of the season. Nelson has been a bright spot in a tough season for the Brewers, posting a 1.35 ERA, 0.70 WHIP, and 17:4 K:BB ratio in 20 innings over three starts.
