The Snakes bit Hellickson in Tampa Bay for four runs over 4 1/3 innings in another loss Wednesday. This time, in Arizona, league rules at least gave him the opportunity to collect a single off Arizona foe Wade Miley. The league teed off on Hellickson earlier this season, but the 26-year-old rebounded during a great stretch from June 19-July 26, posting a 2.96 ERA over nine starts. We're confident that Hellickson's 4.77 ERA will diminish. His high BABIP is destined to drop and his unusually low strand rate is bound to rise.

It was Hellickson's first loss since June 13, dropping him to a still-respectable 10-4 on the season. He'll carry a 4.60 ERA into his rematch with the Diamondbacks in Arizona on Wednesday.

Jeremy Hellickson held the Yankees to one run over six innings Friday in a 10-6 victory. With the win, the Rays jumped over the Red Sox for first place in the American League East. Hellickson gave up just four hits and walked a pair while striking out three batters. The only run scored on an RBI single by Austin Romine in the third inning. While the 26-year-old really struggled to begin the season, he has a 2.96 ERA over his last nine starts. He'll look to keep it going next week when he faces the Diamondbacks at The Trop.

He has pitched much better over his last six outings, posting a 2.19 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 34/10 K/BB over 37 innings, lowering his ERA from 5.67 to 4.62 in the process. He'll look to continue rolling when he takes on the Red Sox in Boston on Thursday.

Jeremy Hellickson allowed three runs in six innings as part of a no-decision against the Twins on Wednesday. Hellickson gave up six hits, walking none and striking out eight on the night. The right-hander remains 8-3 and hasn't lost a game since June 13. He owns a 4.67 ERA at the All-Star break.

Jeremy Hellickson matched his season high with nine strikeouts and allowed just one run on six hits over seven innings in Friday's victory over the White Sox. The only blemish on Hellickson's evening was an RBI single off the bat of Josh Phegley in the fifth inning. His offense staked him to a large early lead, and Hellickson was on cruise control the entire evening. He's now won four straight starts, and six of his last seven to improve to 8-3. He'll look to keep the ball rolling when he takes on the Twins at home on Wednesday.

Jeremy Hellickson held the Tigers to one run over six innings Sunday in the Rays' 3-1 victory. The only real damage done by Detroit was on a Miguel Cabrera solo home run in the top of the fourth inning. Hellickson held that dangerous Detroit offense otherwise in check, scattering six hits while racking up six strikeouts. The young right-hander has been good in three straight outings and will try to keep it rolling next time out when he faces the White Sox at home.

Jeremy Hellickson allowed just one hit over seven scoreless innings Monday to end the Blue Jays' 11-game winning streak. Hellickson has won four of five starts. He does have an eight-run drubbing mixed in there, but that was all the result of one bad inning against the Royals. His WHIP is down to 1.22, and his ERA, currently at 5.11, should keep dropping as well.

The right-hander was pounded his last time out but rebounded well, holding the Red Sox to seven hits while striking out four. Hellickson has been up and down all year, as his ERA still sits at 5.50 despite being 5-3 on the season. He'll try to carry that momentum over into his next start against the Blue Jays on Monday.

Jeremy Hellickson was pounded for eight runs in 5 2/3 innings by the Royals on Thursday. Just when it looked like Hellickson was starting to get something going. He was actually working on a streak of 12 scoreless innings when the Royals suddenly racked up eight runs in the sixth tonight. Manager Joe Maddon left him in to give up eight hits in the frame, the last a three-run homer off the bat of Elliot Johnson. We'd still advise sticking with Hellickson, but he really hasn't been any fun to own this year.
