Jeremy Hellickson matched his season high with nine strikeouts and allowed just one run on six hits over seven innings in Friday's victory over the White Sox. The only blemish on Hellickson's evening was an RBI single off the bat of Josh Phegley in the fifth inning. His offense staked him to a large early lead, and Hellickson was on cruise control the entire evening. He's now won four straight starts, and six of his last seven to improve to 8-3. He'll look to keep the ball rolling when he takes on the Twins at home on Wednesday.
