DeGrom (12-5) gave up three runs on five hits and three walks over five innings while striking out eight in Friday's 6-0 loss to the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
With Yu Darvish keeping the Mets offense completely in check, deGrom was doomed to a loss when Chris Taylor led off the game with a homer, but the Mets righty still managed to supply a little fantasy value with his strikeouts. He's now fanned at least eight batters in five of his last seven starts, posting a 2.64 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 10.8 K/9 over that stretch. DeGrom will next take the mound Wednesday at home against the Rangers.

deGrom (12-4) allowed three runs, two of which were earned, on five hits and one walk while striking out 10 over six innings to take the loss Saturday against the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
deGrom gave up single runs in the second and third innings, and despite a solid outing, a lack of run support cost him a shot at his 13th win. He's allowed just six earned runs over his last four starts to lower his ERA from 3.65 to 3.29, and he continues to be a high-end fantasy option. He'll make his next start Thursday against the Rockies.

DeGrom (12-3) limited the Padres to two runs on five hits with two walks and eight strikeouts over eight innings in Monday's win.
EDGE Analysis
DeGrom set the tone from the get-go, notching a trio of strikeouts looking in the first inning. The only blemishes in this masterful performance came on a seventh-inning solo homer by Hunter Renfroe and consecutive doubles with two outs in the eighth. DeGrom otherwise pitched like an ace is expected to against the weakest lineup in the league, improving to 8-0 in his past eight starts. He'll look for his ninth consecutive victory Saturday in Seattle.

DeGrom (11-3) held the Cardinals to a single run over 6.2 innings Wednesday, allowing seven hits and a walk while striking out three in a 7-3 victory.
EDGE Analysis
It's been a rough season for the Mets as a whole, but one shudders to imagine where they might be without deGrom. Back on May 31 and June 6, he got rocked for 15 runs in eight innings, but he's won seven consecutive starts since then, allowing just nine earned runs over 53.1 innings in that span (1.52 ERA) while posting a sparkling 50:10 K:BB. After an unsteady first couple months, he's stabilized things and is back on track to turn in a pretty normal campaign by his standards. DeGrom will next take the ball Monday in San Diego.

DeGrom (10-3) gave up two runs (one earned) on four hits and a walk while striking out 11 over eight innings in Friday's 14-2 rout of the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
The Mets handed their ace a 9-1 lead by the end of the fourth inning, allowing deGrom to pound the zone and fire 73 of 104 pitches for strikes while cruising to an easy victory. He's rebounded in spectacular fashion from his struggles in late May and early June, allowing one earned run or less and working at least seven innings in five of his last six starts to lower his ERA to 3.48. He'll try to keep things rolling Wednesday at home against the Cardinals.

DeGrom (9-3) gave up four runs on eight hits -- including four solo home runs -- over seven innings while striking out five in Friday's win over the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
It was far from his best effort, as deGrom gave up back-to-back jacks to lead off the third and fourth innings, but he buckled down after that and got enough run support to pick up the victory. The right-hander is set to kick off the second half for the Mets next Friday at home against the Rockies.

DeGrom will start Friday against St. Louis after Wednesday's game in Washington was rained out, NJ.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
He's been on a roll lately, and fantasy owners certainly won't mind that deGrom will miss the Nats' powerful offense and instead face the mediocre Cardinals. DeGrom has gone through some trouble spots, but he's stabilized in a major way lately, winning four straight starts while putting up a 0.84 ERA, 0.72 WHIP and 31:8 K:BB over 32 innings in that span.

DeGrom (8-3) allowed only one run on three hits and a walk while striking out 12 over seven innings in Friday's 2-1 win over the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
It was vintage deGrom, as he threw 71 of 111 pitches for strikes and won his fourth straight game despite a lack of run support from the Mets while fanning double-digit batters for the sixth time in 16 starts. He'll carry a 3.55 ERA into his next outing Wednesday on the road against the Nationals.

DeGrom (7-3) allowed just one run on four hits and a walk while striking out seven batters through eight innings during Saturday's win over the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
It's always reassuring when a high-end hurler cruises against a weak opponent, and that's exactly what deGrom accomplished Saturday. There have been a few hiccups along the way, which has his ratios higher -- 3.71 ERA and 1.27 WHIP -- than fantasy owners would like, but he's also sporting a career-high 10.5 K/9 and seven wins. DeGrom is one of the rare set-and-forget starting pitchers and has now allowed just two earned runs through 25 innings over his past three starts.

DeGrom (6-3) surrendered one unearned run over eight innings in Sunday's win over the Nationals, allowing three hits and two walks with six strikeouts.
EDGE Analysis
DeGrom encountered a bit of bad luck in the first inning, allowing a run after an error and a passed ball put Brian Goodwin in position to score in a sacrifice fly. He settled down to great effect thereafter, allowing just three singles and a pair of walks over the following seven frames. This stellar outing for deGrom came on the heels of a complete game victory over the Cubs earlier in the week -- an excellent way to rebound after he had allowed 15 runs across eight innings in his two previous starts. The right-hander's ERA has been trimmed down to a more tolerable 3.94 for the season and he will look to continue his dominance in a favorable matchup against the Giants on Friday.
