DeGrom gave up two runs on three hits and three walks in six innings while striking out 10 on Sunday, but he didn't factor into the decision as the Mets lost 10-5 to the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
It was the second time in deGrom's last four starts that he punched out 10. Though he has 14 wins on the year, his 3.63 ERA, 10.6 K/9 and 2.7 BB/9 continue to fly under the radar because he plays for the Mets. He's poised to finish another season as a high-end fantasy hurler.

DeGrom (14-9) was bombarded for nine runs -- six earned -- on 10 hits and a pair of walks over just 3.2 innings in a 9-1 loss to the Phillies on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
The Mets' only ace left standing has been having a rough time of it lately, having been tagged for 24 runs (20 of those earned) over 31 innings spanning his last five starts -- four of which have resulted in defeat. This was deGrom's shortest outing of the season, and it certainly came at an inopportune moment for his fantasy owners. He'll start for the second time this week Sunday against the Reds with an eye on redemption.

DeGrom (14-8) was charged with four runs (three earned) on six hits over six innings in a losing effort against the Reds on Thursday. He struck out five and walked three batters.
EDGE Analysis
It goes down as a quality start, but deGrom wasn't as sharp in this one as he normally is. He issued walks to the likes of Patrick Kivlehan and Stuart Turner and gave up a homer to Scooter Gennett, lifting his August ERA to 3.92. DeGrom had back-to-back sub-3.00 ERA months coming into August and he's still top-10 in the National League in most traditional pitching categories, so he should remain a fixture in fantasy lineups over the season's final month.

DeGrom (14-7) allowed one run on five hits and one walk while striking out 10 over 7 .2 innings to earn the win Friday against the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
DeGrom held the National scoreless until allowing a run in the eighth inning, but he left the contest with a two-run lead that the bullpen was able to protect. After allowing five runs in two consecutive starts, he was able to get back on track against his division rivals. It's likely that his poor outings were merely a hiccup, and he should be able to finish the season on a strong note and help fantasy managers down the stretch. He'll make his next start Thursday against the Reds.

DeGrom allowed five runs on 10 hits with no walks across 6.1 innings to take the loss Sunday against the Marlins. He struck out eight.
EDGE Analysis
DeGrom actually pitched quite well for much of the afternoon, but he put two men on base before Giancarlo Stanton launched a three-run home run with one out in the seventh inning. He went without a walk for the second time in his last three starts while throwing 74 percent of his pitches for strikes, but he missed over the plate with regularity. DeGrom has now allowed 10 earned runs over his last 13.2 innings and will face another tough test Friday against the Nationals.

DeGrom (13-6) allowed five runs on nine hits and two walks across 7.1 innings while taking the loss Tuesday against the Yankees. He struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
DeGrom spread the damage around in this one, allowing at least one run in four separate innings. Three of those came via the home run in the fourth and sixth innings, with another tacked on by a sacrifice fly just before his removal in the seventh. This bumpy outing for deGrom ended a string of six consecutive starts in which he had allowed three earned runs or fewer. He still owns an impressive 53:10 K:BB over his last seven turns and will look to bonce back Sunday against the Marlins.

DeGrom (triceps) will make his next scheduled start Tuesday against the Yankees, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
DeGrom was able to throw a side session with no issues Saturday, confirming the stud right-hander won't need to be skipped in the rotation. The 29-year-old, who has compiled an impressive 3.21 ERA and 179 strikeouts in 151 innings this season, will look to keep things rolling against the Mets' crosstown rivals.

DeGrom (triceps) expects to make his next scheduled start Tuesday against the Yankees, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Mets ace was forced from Thursday's game after being struck on his pitching arm by a hard-hit comebacker. DeGrom was sent for further testing, which revealed only a triceps contusion rather than anything more serious in nature. He finished the night with a win, delivering 6.2 scoreless innings with nine strikeouts on 100 pitches.

DeGrom was diagnosed with a right triceps contusion Thursday, Matt Ehalt of The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
It appears that deGrom avoided anything serious after being hit by a comebacker during Thursday's outing, which forced him from the game. Still, the fact that the injury is on his pitching arm puts his status for his next start in question. The Mets figure to have more updates on deGrom in the lead-up to his next outing.

DeGrom exited Thursday's start against the Phillies after being struck on the side by a comebacker, Marc Carig of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Mets' ace had been cruising prior to his exit Thursday, fanning nine batters without a single walk over 6.2 scoreless innings. According to Anthony DiComo of MLB.com deGrom was hit by a 99 mile-per-hour line drive off the bat of Philadelphia's Nick Williams. Whether this will affect deGrom's availability for his next start remains to be seen, but there figures to be more updates on his status before the weekend.
