Flaherty allowed two runs on four hits with five strikeouts and two walks across six innings during a no-decision against the Rangers on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
It was the first time Flaherty yielded fewer than three runs in a start this month, but the Cardinals needed to come back in the ninth to help him avoid the loss. That was disappointing, but Flaherty did solve his control issues in this one. He walked just two after he had given out 12 free passes combined in his previous three starts. Flaherty is 4-3 with a 4.19 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 58 strikeouts in 53.2 innings this season. He will pitch next against the Braves on Sunday.

Flaherty (4-3) earned the win Tuesday, allowing three runs on three hits and five walks while striking out six over six innings in a 14-3 win over the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Flaherty was spotted plenty of support in this start, allowing him to overcome a shaky fifth inning in an otherwise solid start. Flaherty has a 4.34 ERA and 1.28 WHIP, but also owns a 53:18 K:BB and 3.4 BB/9 this season. The 23-year-old will try to build on this win in his next start Sunday against the Rangers.

Flaherty (3-3) took the loss Wednesday against the Phillies by allowing four runs (three earned) on four hits across five innings. He walked three and struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
Flaherty struggled with his command once again as he has now issued seven walks in his last two starts, which of which resulted in a loss. The 23-year-old has a 4.32 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 47:13 K:BB, and lines up to take the mound next week in Atlanta.

Flaherty (3-2) took the loss Friday, allowing three runs on four hits and four walks while striking out nine over 5.2 innings against the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Flaherty ran into trouble in a three-batter sequence in the third inning, walking Daniel Descalso and Kris Bryant before allowing a three-run homer to Anthony Rizzo. The 23-year-old then steadied but was removed after 5.2 innings and 110 pitches. Flaherty has a 4.76 ERA and a 1.41 WHIP along with a 45:10 K:BB, and he'll look to rebound in his next start Wednesday at home against the Phillies.

EDGE Analysis
Flaherty cruised through seven shutout innings to pick up his third win. The right-hander delivered a nice outing after giving up at least four runs in his previous two starts. The 23-year-old has a 4.06 ERA and a 36:6 K:BB through six starts this season. Flaherty will get his next start Friday at Wrigley Field.

Flaherty (2-1) allowed four runs on three hits and a walk, earning the victory over Milwaukee on Monday. He struck out 10 batters and gave up three home runs.
EDGE Analysis
It wasn't too bad of an outing for Flaherty who cruised through four perfect innings before allowing a trio long balls over the next two frames. It was also his first double-digit strikeout game of 2019, giving him stellar 32:5 K:BB in 24 innings. The young right-hander will carry a 5.25 ERA into Sunday's tilt with the Reds.

Flaherty (1-1) took the loss Tuesday, allowing five runs on nine hits and one walk while striking out four over 2.2 innings against Milwaukee.
EDGE Analysis
Flaherty wasn't fooling the Brewers, and permitted all five runs in the third inning highlighted by homers from Lorenzo Cain and Yasmani Grandal. The 23-year-old was removed with two outs in the third inning after 75 pitches. The poor outing inflates his ERA to 5.00 and his WHIP to 1.61 after four starts, and he'll look to rebound in a rematch with Milwaukee at home on Monday.

EDGE Analysis
Flaherty earned his first win of the season as he delivered an eight-strikeout performance. The 23-year-old has a 1-0 record with a 2.93 ERA and 18 strikeouts through 15.1 innings this season. Flaherty will get his next start Tuesday at Milwaukee.

Flaherty allowed six hits and two walks and struck out six over five scoreless innings Friday against the Padres. He didn't factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Flaherty dealt with runners on base throughout his day, although he managed to escape without surrendering a run. He left the contest in line for the victory, but his offense and bullpen would ultimately let him down. Flaherty is still searching for his first win of the 2019 campaign despite putting together two decent starts (four runs allowed over 9.1 frames).

Flaherty's scheduled start Thursday against the Padres has been postponed to Friday due to inclement weather, Jenifer Langosch of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Both teams had a scheduled off day Friday, so Thursday's series opener will simply be pushed back by 24 hours. While nothing is confirmed, the Cardinals figure to push their rotation back by a day, leaving Flaherty to take the ball for Friday's series opener. In his only start so far this season, the 23-year-old allowed four runs on seven hits while striking out four in 4.1 innings against the Brewers.
