Hyun-Jin Ryu (foot) has officially been cleared to start on Friday against the Braves. Ryu doesn't normally threw bullpen sessions in between starts, but he threw light ones on Monday and Wednesday to test out his foot and is "100 percent" for Friday, according to Dodgers manager Don Mattingly. The left-hander threw a two-hit shutout in his last start on May 28 and boasts a 2.89 ERA and 67/22 K/BB ratio in 71 2/3 innings.

Hyun-Jin Ryu (foot) felt good during a bullpen session Monday and expects to be ready to make his next start. Ryu normally doesn't throw bullpen sessions in between starts, but he did Monday after being scratched from his last outing with a sore foot. It's not clear when he'll get the ball next.

Hyun-Jin Ryu has been scratched from Sunday's start against the Rockies due to a sore foot. Ryu was struck on his foot by a comebacker during Tuesday's start. X-rays came back negative, but the left-hander remains sore. It's not such a bad thing, given the poor matchup at Coors Field. He should be fine for his next outing. Matthew Magill will fill in Sunday.

Hyun-Jin Ryu had an X-ray on his foot that came back negative. It's not clear how Ryu suffered the ailment, but obviously it didn't bother him during Tuesday's start, as he twirled his first shutout. He'll be fine for his next outing.

Hyun-Jin Ryu pitched a two-hitter Tuesday and struck out seven in the Dodgers' 3-0 win over the Angels. Ryu faced just two over the minimum in his first major league complete game. He's going to have quite a strong case for an All-Star appearance if this keeps up. He's 6-2 with a 2.89 ERA and a 67/22 K/BB ratio in 71 2/3 innings.

Hyun-Jin Ryu held the Brewers to two runs in 7 1/3 innings in the Dodgers' 9-2 victory Wednesday. It's the seventh time in 10 big-league starts that Ryu has allowed two earned runs or fewer. It's curious that his strikeout rate has dipped of late -- he has just 14 K's in his past four starts combined -- but he has his ERA down to 3.30.

Hyun-Jin Ryu gave up two runs in five innings Friday in a no-decision against the Braves. It was the first time that he failed to complete at least six innings. The southpaw really labored, as he gave up five hits and walked a career-high five while striking out five. He threw just 56 out of 100 pitches for strikes. Still, he managed to avoid serious damage. Ryu owns a 3.42 ERA through his first nine starts in the majors and will square off against the Brewers next week in Milwaukee.

Hyun-Jin Ryu helped end the Dodgers eight-game losing streak by allowing one run in 6 2/3 innings on Saturday. The Dodgers trounced the Marlins' 7-1, so at least Don Mattingly can go tonight without answering questions about his job. Ryu is now 4-2 with a 3.40 ERA. The Dodgers are 5-3 when he starts and 9-18 the rest of the time.

Hyun-Jin Ryu struggled in his start Sunday against the Giants, allowing four runs on eight hits over six innings for his second loss of the season. Ryu was able to limit the Giants to mostly singles, but he clearly wasn't at his best. He walked two, struck out two, and threw 53 of his 85 pitches for strikes. Ryu has a 3.71 ERA and 43/12 K/BB ratio in 44 innings this season. He'll have a much easier matchup in his next start Saturday vs. the Marlins.

Hyun-Jin Ryu struck out 12 while allowing two runs in six innings Tuesday in a defeat of the Rockies. Ryu has fanned 46 in 37 2/3 innings to date. We're not sure he'll hold up for 200 innings, but he figures to remain one of the NL's better fantasy starters for at least the first half of the season. He's 3-1 with a 3.35 ERA and a 1.14 WHIP right now.
