Hyun-Jin Ryu was touched up for five runs in six innings Saturday in a no-decision against the Orioles. Ryu allowed six earned runs in his first three starts combined, but the Orioles took it to him Saturday. The southpaw gave up eight hits (including a pair of homers) and two walks while compiling six strikeouts. He now has a 4.10 ERA and 26/5 K/BB ratio in 24 2/3 innings. It may be worth sitting him in certain matchups, but we think he can be a very productive pitcher in mixed fantasy leagues.

Hyun-Jin Ryu got his first career win in his start Sunday against the Pirates. Ryu allowed two runs on three hits over 6 1/3 innings and finished with six strikeouts. His lone mistake came on a two-run homer to Andrew McCutchen, but it was otherwise a strong bounceback performance after Ryu took a loss in his Dodgers debut. Adrian Gonzalez provided plenty of run support with three hits and five RBI in the win.

Hyun-Jin Ryu took a loss in his Dodgers debut after allowing three runs -- one earned -- in 6 1/3 innings Tuesday against the Giants. The Giants got to him for 10 hits, but every last one was a single. He doesn't deserve any blame for the two unearned runs: shortstop Justin Sellers made an error on the first play of the seventh and then one more right after Ryu was pulled, allowing two runs to score. All in all, it was a nice debut for Ryu. The only real problem was that he didn't hustle down to first on his two groundouts.

Hyun-Jin Ryu spun four perfect innings against the Angels Thursday in his final tune-up before the regular season. Ryu struck out four in a terrific showing against what will be the Angels' Opening Day lineup. The Korean import got off to a rocky start this spring, but he's really come on of late and will finish Cactus League play with a 3.29 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 27/8 K/BB ratio over 27 1/3 frames. He's an intriguing late-round option in mixed formats.

Hyun-Jin Ryu will make his Dodgers' debut on April 2. It's the assignment that was originally scheduled to go to Zack Greinke before his elbow injury cropped up. Ryu struggled early on in spring training and drew criticism for his poor conditioning, but he's looked better of late and is a worthy late-round flier in fantasy leagues.

Hyun-Jin Ryu allowed one run on three hits over 5 2/3 innings in Sunday's win over the Brewers. Ryu didn't give up any hits after the first inning and finished with six strikeouts. It was by far his best Cactus League start. While he hasn't looked overly impressive thus far, Ryu big contract should make him a lock for a rotation spot. The 25-year-old left-hander is posting a 4.41 ERA this spring.

Hyun-Jin Ryu gave up three runs over 4 2/3 innings in Monday's loss to the Brewers. Ryu held the Brewers to just two hits over the first three innings, but he unraveled in the fourth by giving up three runs on three hits and a walk. Rickie Weeks nearly took him deep for a two-run homer during the frame, but he settled for an RBI triple after the ball just missed going over the fence. Ryu now has an ugly 5.91 ERA (seven runs allowed in 10 2/3 innings) over his first four appearances this spring. While the assumption was that Ryu's big contract would make him a lock for a rotation spot, he still has a lot to prove.

Hyun-Jin Ryu yielded two runs over three-plus innings in Wednesday's loss to the Indians. Ryu hurled three scoreless frames before giving up a double and a single to begin the fourth inning. Matt Palmer allowed both inherited runners to score. The Korean left-hander mostly sat in the high-80s with his fastball, giving up three hits and a walk while fanning five. Ryu has a 6.00 ERA (four earned runs allowed in six innings) this spring, so the Dodgers' big investment hasn't been overly impressive thus far.

Hyun-Jin Ryu allowed two runs over two innings Friday against the Angels. Ryu allowed four hits -- including a two-run homer to Josh Hamilton -- while walking one and striking out three. The 25-year-old southpaw wasn't at top physical condition upon arriving to camp, but he has worked hard to lose some weight over the past couple of weeks. After committing $61.7 million in order to acquire him, the Dodgers are expected to give him a chance to open the season in the starting rotation. While Ryu is a bit of an unknown quantity, we feel that he could be a nice sleeper pick in the mid-to-late rounds of fantasy drafts.

Hyun-Jin Ryu pitched a scoreless third inning in his Dodgers debut Sunday. Ryu reported to camp weighing 255 pounds and has struggled with his conditioning early in spring training, but the 25-year-old is still expected to open the season in the Dodgers' starting rotation. A fair expectation for him might be similiar to what Wei-Yin Chen did with the Orioles last year. With an 88-91 mph fastball and an excellent changeup, Ryu could be a sleeper in the middle rounds of fantasy drafts.
