Hyun-Jin Ryu allowed six runs on nine hits over five innings in a loss to the Rockies on Sunday.
Ryu gave up nine hits for the second straight game, but unlike his last start he couldn't limit the damage. The big hit was a Josh Rutledge three-run homer that ended Ryu's day. The bad outing raised his ERA from 2.12 to 3.23, but he's still been largely productive in the season's first month. Ryu will look to get back in the win column at the Marlins on Saturday.

Hyun-Jin Ryu surrendered two runs over six innings in a no-decision against the Phillies on Tuesday.
The South Korean southpaw struck out three, walked two, and allowed nine hits. Believe it or not, but this was only his second start out of six where he'd allowed so much as one earned run. Ryu owns a spectacular 2.12 ERA and 1.15 WHIP through 34 innings despite having coughed up eight runs (six earned) in just two innings against the Giants on April 4. He'll play host to the Rockies on Sunday.

Hyun-Jin Ryu spun seven scoreless innings in Thursday's 2-1 victory over the Giants.
Ryu only struck out three, but he allowed just four hits -- all singles -- while walking one. The left-hander was rocked for eight runs -- six earned -- in his lone home start this season but has been untouchable (quite literally) on the road, tossing 26 scoreless frames. He'll have two home starts next week against the Phillies and Rockies.

Hyun-Jin Ryu pitched extremely well in the domestic opener over the Padres on Sunday, firing seven scoreless innings while allowing just three hits, but was denied a victory when his bullpen couldn't protect the lead.
The 27-year-old southpaw walked three and punched out seven in the impressive outing. After having defeated the Diamondbacks in Australia, Ryu was in line for his second victory before Brian Wilson surrendered the lead three pitches into the eighth inning. He hasn't allowed a run through his first 12 innings and will look to extend that dominance when he takes on the Giants at home on Sunday.

Hyun-Jin Ryu will start for the Dodgers in Sunday night's domestic regular season opener against the Padres in San Diego.
Ryu came through Friday's bullpen session without any issues, after cracking his right big toenail while running the bases in Australia. Coming off a win in his season opening start against the Diamondbacks, Ryu looks poised to build upon his impressive rookie campaign from 2013.

Hyun-Jin Ryu (toe) will throw a bullpen session Friday.
If he gets through the bullpen session without any issues, Ryu could start on Sunday versus the Padres. If he has any complications, Dan Haren will get the ball Sunday. Ryu is dealing with a sore right big toe, but he's feeling better after having part of the toenail removed.

Hyun-Jin Ryu (toe) is questionable for his next scheduled regular season start against the Padres.
Ryu hurt his big right toe running the bases during the season-opening series in Australia and currently has it wrapped. He was able to play a light game of catch Tuesday, but isn't participating in fielding drills. It doesn't sound like a long-term injury, but he might have his next regular season start pushed back at the very least.

Hyun-Jin Ryu shut out the Diamondbacks for five innings as the Dodgers won 7-5 to wrap up the Australia trip Sunday.
It was a reasonable enough game early on, if a little sloppy defensively, but then as the score grew lopsided, both managers decided it'd be neat if everyone got into the game. Hence, the Dodgers used eight pitchers on the night, the Diamondbacks six, and the result was a four-hour snoozapalooza. Ryu allowed just two hits and struck out five before coming out. He issued one walk. Oddly enough, that went to reliever Josh Collmenter, who was allowed to bat in the fifth because the Diamondbacks had already given up by that point. The Dodgers beat Arizona both games in Australia and will now return home and play in a few more exhibition games before that other Opening Day next week.
