Hyun-Jin Ryu (toe) will throw a bullpen session Friday. If he gets through the bullpen session without any issues, Ryu could start on Sunday versus the Padres. If he has any complications, Dan Haren will get the ball Sunday. Ryu is dealing with a sore right big toe, but he's feeling better after having part of the toenail removed.
