The Marlins' offense was held in check by Edinson Volquez and the Pittsburgh pen until Giancarlo put the team on the board with a two-run shot in the ninth, the slugger's only hit in four trips to the plate. Stanton continues to rake, posting a .289/.389/.546 slash over 114 games while cranking 27 home runs and 76 RBI for the Fish.
