Stanton is batting third and starting in right field for the Marlins' Grapefruit League opener Thursday against the Cardinals, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports. Stanton was hit on the hip during his first taste of live action Sunday, but is ready to roll as the Marlins open their preseason schedule. Manager Mike Redmond is planning to mix and match his lineup throughout the spring, but his first iteration has Stanton batting third and Christian Yelich in the two-hole. Mike Morse, Martin Prado and Marcell Ozuna are hitting in the fourth through sixth spots, respectively. Stanton will be a fantasy beast regardless of where he hits in the lineup, but the third position guarantees he'll see action in the first inning and would serve to be a nice volume boost if it sticks over the course of a full season.
