El Oso Blanco has been bueno since being recalled by the Braves on September 3, going 9-for-26 (.346) with three doubles, three homers and seven RBI. On Tuesday he drove in a run with a first inning double before singling in another in the third. Justin Upton exited the game with a bruised right knee, so Gattis may be in line for regular at-bats in the next few days as well.

Evan Gattis blasted two solo homers off Cole Hamels in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Phillies.
Unfortunately, none of Gattis' offensive cohorts could figure out Philadelphia's southpaw and Atlanta didn't record so much as another hit. Gattis is 6-for-17 (.353) with a double and three homers since his return from the minors.

Evan Gattis went 3-for-3 with his 16th home run in the Braves' 3-1 win over the Mets on Tuesday.
The breakout game was much-needed for the 27-year-old, as he had been hitless in his previous 16 at-bats over his last eight games. He'd fallen into such a rut that the Braves demoted him last week before recalling him before Tuesday's game. No conclusions should ever be drawn from one game, so watch how Gattis responds in coming days before beginning to trust him again for fantasy purposes.
