Braves recalled C Evan Gattis from Triple-A Gwinnett. Gattis will start in left field Tuesday night against the Mets. The rookie catcher posted a spectacular .252/.317/.577 slash line with 14 bombs and 37 RBI prior to the All-Star break, but fell to .225/.266/.292 with one homer and 10 RBI in 25 games in the second half before Atlanta demoted him on August 30. El Oso Blanco may find it difficult to accrue consistent at-bats in September.
