Thames (hamstring) is back in Friday's lineup against the Braves, MLB Network Radio reports.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Craig Counsell referred to the hamstring injury that forced Thames out of Wednesday's game as "a very minor issue." Thames may not be quite 100 percent, but he is at least healthy enough to swing his white hot bat against righty Bartolo Colon in the opener of a three-game series at Miller Park. He can be deployed in all formats.

Manager Craig Counsell said that Thames was removed from Wednesday's game against the Reds due to left hamstring tightness, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Brewers were sitting on a comfortable lead in the top of the eighth inning when Thames appeared to tweak his left leg, but it sounds like his removal from the contest may have been precautionary more than anything else. Counsell indicated after the game the injury was "not serious," and with a team off day Thursday, there's a good chance that Thames will be back out there for Friday's series opener with the Braves. The slugging first baseman went 1-for-3 with a pair of walks and runs scored before departing Wednesday.

Thames was pulled from Wednesday's game against the Reds in the top of the eighth inning with an apparent injury, C. Trent Rosecrans of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Thames didn't look to be in any major pain when he met with a team trainer on the field, but he was spotted stretching his left leg, so his removal could be related to that. Jesus Aguilar came in at first base in his stead, ending Thames' streak of games with a home run against the Reds at five. He finished the afternoon 1-for-3 with two walks and two runs scored. The Brewers will have an off day Thursday before opening a three-game set with the Braves over the weekend.

Thames went 1-for-3 with a walk and a two-run home run, his 11th of the season, in Tuesday's 9-1 rout of the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
He's now set a new franchise record with his 11th homer in April, and eight of them have come against Cincinnati pitching. Thames has to slow down eventually, but it'll take a major slump for the rest of the league to catch up to his 1.411 OPS.

Thames finished 2-for-3 with two home runs, three RBI, three runs scored and two walks in Monday's 11-7 win over the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Thames continued his scorching start to the season in the power department with a solo homer to right in the first before sending a two-run shot to left an inning later. He walked in his final two plate appearances, as the Reds seemingly had no desire to give him anything to hit. Thames has enjoyed a tremendous return to the MLB and now leads the league in both home runs (10) and runs scored (23) through the early stages.

Thames clubbed his eighth homer of the season in Thursday's victory over the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
The former KBO star continues to shine in his return to Major League Baseball, as Thursday's performance raised his batting average and OPS to .415 and 1.481, respectively. This also marked the sixth time in the past week that Thames has homered, a period over which he's batted .464 with nine runs batted in.

Thames went 3-for-5 with two doubles and two runs scored in Tuesday's 9-7 loss to the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
While his homer streak ended at five games, Thames did bang out an extra-base hit for the eighth straight game. He also set a new Brewers record with a hit in his 12th straight start to begin a season, with only a failed pinch hit appearance on April 4 standing between him and an official 12-game hitting streak. The 30-year-old has to slow down eventually, but for now his .426/.491/1.000 slash line demonstrates that MLB pitchers have no idea what to do with the repatriated slugger.

Thames went 3-for-4 and hit his sixth home run in five games in Monday's victory over the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Thames has been piling up the counting numbers of late, tallying six home runs, nine RBI, and 11 runs over his last five games, and he now owns a 1.479 OPS over 12 games. He ceded some starts to fellow first baseman Jesus Aguilar earlier this season, but he was brought in to be the Brewers' primary first baseman, and seems to have ultimately laid claim to that role thanks to his recent hot streak.

Thames went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs, three runs, two RBI and a walk during Saturday's loss to Cincinnati.
EDGE Analysis
With 10 runs, five home runs, 10 RBI and a .564 wOBA, Thames is showcasing that his gaudy KBO numbers can translate to North America. It's easy to suggest to consider sell-high offers, but Miller Park is a friendly hitting environment, and the almost certain negative regression ahead might not be that significant for Thames. It's worth adding that he hasn't even attempted to steal a base yet, either. A banner fantasy campaign is within reach.

Thames went 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored and two RBI in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Apparently, nobody told Thames that hitting in MLB was supposed to be tougher than hitting in the KBO. The 30-year-old is slashing .360/.448/.720 through his first eight games back in North America with two homers, five RBI and six runs scored.
