Thames is out of the lineup for Friday's game against Miami.
EDGE Analysis
Thames will sit for the second consecutive day while Jesus Aguilar gets the nod at first yet again. While the struggles continue for Thames, Aguilar had a monster performance Thursday, going 3-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, two runs and a double. The Brewers chose to ride the hot hand for the series opener against the Marlins as Thames remains available off the bench.

Thames is not in the lineup Thursday against the Reds, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Thames is just 4-for-41 (.098) with 19 strikeouts over his last 11 games, so he'll get the day off to help clear his head. Jesus Aguilar will take over at first base in his stead.

Thames will take a seat for Wednesday's game against the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
After going 0-for-5 with four strikeouts during Tuesday's contest, Thames will take a day off to clear his head. The slugger hasn't recorded a hit in the past three games and is replaced at first base by Jesus Aguilar on Wednesday. Thames is likely to be back in the lineup for Thursday's series finale.

Thames went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run during Saturday's loss to San Diego.
EDGE Analysis
Make it four games in a row with a homer for Thames, and he's now up to 20 bombs, 38 RBI and 50 runs with a .269/.402/.616 slash line. Additionally, his .347 ISO and .419 wOBA are elite numbers. While there are probably going to be a few more peaks and valleys going forward, Thames is clearly past the recent slump that plagued his fantasy production. It also isn't out of the question to suggest that his funk at the dish was significantly impacted by the hamstring injury that lingered and kept him out of the weight room, either.

Thames went 3-for-5 with a double and a walk-off solo home run in the 10th inning of Friday's 6-5 win over the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
He's now homered in three straight games, giving him 19 on the season, and it looks like the Thames who posted a monstrous 1.276 OPS in April is making a re-appearance. He was hitting only .108 (4-for-37) in June with 17 strikeouts in 12 games prior to his most recent power surge, however, and the 30-year-old's contact issues could make him very streaky for the remainder of the year.

Thames went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run during Thursday's win over St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
The bomb was Thames' 18th of the season, and it was also the game-winning shot in the top of the ninth inning. He's posted consecutive multi-hit games with a home run in each and could potentially be in the beginning stages of another hot stretch at the dish.

Thames went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run, a double, three RBI and two runs during Wednesday's win over St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
Thames has slowed down considerably since his hot start and sports a disappointing .151/.342/.349 slash line through his past 28 games. His 30.6 strikeout percentage during that stretch is a concerning mark, and Thames' counting stats have also taken a hit (four home runs, eight RBI and 14 runs). While the current slump has been discouraging, he's already collected 17 homers, 33 RBI and 52 runs, which is a solid foundation for his counting stats to build on going forward. Additionally, Thames' willingness to take free passes (17.5 BB%) mitigates some of the concern over his rising strikeout rate.

Thames is not in the lineup for Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Thames went 0-for-2 with two walks in Game 1, so he'll head to the bench for a breather as Jesus Aguilar comes in to start the Brewers' second contest of the day.

Thames went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, two walks and two runs scored during Thursday's loss to San Francisco.
EDGE Analysis
The blast was Thames' third in eight contests and 16th of the campaign. He's sporting a 1.006 OPS, which ranks 10th in the majors among qualified hitters, and his .410 on-base percentage and 0.71 BB/K rate are also encouraging marks for the sustainability of his excellent start.

Thames is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Thames continues to be in a funk at the plate, collecting just six hits over the past 14 games, so he'll head to the bench for a night off with southpaw Ty Blach getting the start for San Francisco. Jesus Aguilar will man first base in his place.
