Travis went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 5-4 win over the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
His seventh-inning blast broke open a 3-3 tie and proved to be difference in the game. Travis now has three homers and nine RBI in his last seven games, and has firmly put his sluggish April in the rear-view mirror.

Travis is starting at second base and leading off Wednesday against the Reds, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Kevin Pillar getting the day off, Travis will have a chance to prove his stuff out of the leadoff spot. The second baseman is just 3-for-31 over seven games in the No. 1 hole this season.

Travis is now standing further away from the plate in the batter's box, Israel Fehr of The Athletic Toronto reports.
EDGE Analysis
Travis slumped in April to a .130 clip, though it was basically extended spring training considering he was rehabbing his right knee for most of the Blue Jays' exhibition action. While this could be a mere hot run over a long season, his restrengthened knee and this new position of his stance are undoubtedly contributing to his May surge (.351/.364/.622 with two home runs in 78 plate appearances). The streaky bat may well fall into a funk, but he's proving much more useful as a mixed-league fantasy play in standard formats with his revived health and approach.

Travis went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer in Sunday's win over the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
The second baseman's first-inning blast, his second of the campaign, was all the Jays needed en route to a 3-1 victory. Manager John Gibbons seems to have found the button that's pushed Travis into high gear. Hitting fifth or sixth in the batting order, Travis is 16-for-38 (.421) with more extra-base hits (nine) than singles. He's just 18-for-104 (.173) when penciled into any other spot in the order. The 26-year-old has found his stroke this month after a dismal April. Through 18 May games, Travis is slashing .369/.382/.631 with 10 RBI and 10 runs. He's even been a bit active on the bases, swiping two bags in four attempts.

Travis is not in the lineup Thursday against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Travis has been scorching hot in the month of May, as he's tallied 12 doubles since the calendar turned, but he'll get his first day off since May 9. Chris Coghlan will man the keystone in his stead.

Travis is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Indians, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite going 1-for-3 with a double Monday against the Indians, Travis will head to the bench while Chris Coghlan gets the start at the keystone. While he has picked it up at the plate in May, Travis still owns a weak .157/.204/.245 slash through 28 games.

Travis said he's 15 pounds lighter than he was at this point last season, but added the weight change hasn't affected his overall performance, Mark Zwolinski of the Toronto Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
The young second baseman wanted to lighten the load on the knee that plagued him last season. After an awful start to 2017, Jays' manager John Gibbons believes Travis is beginning to turn the corner. "He looks like a totally different guy the last few games," Gibbons said Wednesday. "You could see it a little bit into that last homestand. We were holding onto the fact that it was just a matter of time. He has been too good for us. He's still a young kid... When you can hit, you can hit, and it's usually just a matter of time." Through 24 games, Travis owns a .157/.211/.236 slash line over 95 plate appearances.

Travis slashed an unpredictable .130/.193/.195 through the first month of the 2017 campaign.
EDGE Analysis
The second baseman barely made it on the Opening Day bus, complete a rehab assignment (knee) just in time to join the MLB club. Since then, Travis has hit his way to the cellar of the offensive production charts. Among those qualified at his position, Travis ranks dead last in batting average, OBP and slugging percentage. However, there may be a silver lining for the 26-year-old, as he's been victimized by a perversely low .158 BABIP. It's highly unlikely -- assuming he stays healthy -- that Travis will finish as one of the worst offensive second baseman, meaning much better days should be ahead.

Travis is not in the lineup Saturday against the Rays, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite collecting hits in each of the last two games, Travis is batting just .137 (10-for-73) on the year. He'll take a seat for the third time in five games as Darwin Barney fills in at second base. It's still early, but Travis will need to turn things around at the plate if he intends to keep hold of his everyday role.

Travis is not in the lineup for game two of Thursday's doubleheader with the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Travis went 0-for-4 in the first game -- lowering his season average to just .158 (8-for-68) -- so he'll head to the bench to clear his head as Darwin Barney fills in at second base.
