Travis will likely require arthroscopic surgery on his knee, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet Canada reports.
EDGE Analysis
Travis has been dealing with a knee bruise since the beginning of the postseason, and was finally sent for an MRI on Saturday. The results revealed a bone bruise, as expected, but also that there is a small flap of cartilage caught in the joint. As a result, Travis will undergo a minor procedure to correct the issue, but provided the surgery happens in the near future, it shouldn't greatly affect his 2017 availability.

EDGE Analysis

Travis (knee) is listed on the Blue Jays' ALCS roster, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Travis stated that he fully expects to be ready for the beginning of the ALCS, so it comes as no surprise that the second baseman is included on the roster for Toronto's series with the Indians. Nothing has been announced about whether or not Travis will be ready for Game 1, but he should reassume his spot atop the lineup whenever he does return.

Travis said he fully expects to be recovered from the knee injury that forced him to miss the last two games of the ALDS, and be ready to go for the ALCS which starts Friday, the Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Travis was available off the bench for the series-clinching victory over Texas on Sunday, but never entered the 10-inning affair. In the first two postseason games, the second baseman was just 1-for-10 and when he went down, Ezequiel Carrera did a fine job replacing Travis atop the lineup. Even so, there's little doubt that Travis will immediately return to the leadoff role once healthy.

EDGE Analysis
Travis went 0-for-5 in the first game of the series, and missed Game 2 due to what is being described as a deep bone bruise in his right knee. Travis should be considered day-to-day until further notice, while Darwin Barney will continue to start at the keystone in his stead.
