Duffy (6-10) pitched five innings, allowing one run on three hits while striking out seven to pick up the win against the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.
He's now given up one run or less in each of his past five outings, though he hadn't picked up a win during that span until Tuesday's performance. Duffy has been exceptional this season, but has been saddled with receiving just 2.34 runs of support in his starts, lowest in the majors among pitchers with at least 100 innings. Tuesday's 12 run outburst must have been a breath of fresh air for Duffy, who lowered his ERA to 2.39 in the outing. He'll take on the Giants at home in his next scheduled start.

Danny Duffy pitched around six walks to hold the Twins to one run in 5 2/3 innings on Wednesday.
That's largely because the Twins made three outs on the basepaths, with Eduardo Nunez getting picked off second by Salvador Perez, Sam Fuld getting picked off first by Duffy and Brian Dozier getting thrown out at home after trying to score on an errant throw. If the Twins hadn't done Duffy so many favors, there's a good chance they would have won tonight.

Danny Duffy tossed seven shutout innings, but took a no-decision as the Royals needed 14 innings to earn victory from the Indians on Thursday.
Duffy had the misfortune of going up against Corey Kluber, who was on point all night long. Nevertheless, Duffy nearly outmatched the Indians' right-hander, relenting only two hits and two walks while striking out seven. Duffy has been great since moving into the rotation in May, sporting a 2.50 ERA as a starter. On the season overall, including his six relief appearances, he has a 2.47 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, and a 76/34 K/BB ratio. Duffy will take the hill against the Twins at home in his next start.

Danny Duffy allowed just two runs -- one earned -- over 6 2/3 innings but the Royals lost to the Red Sox on Saturday night at Fenway Park.
Kansas City's offense provided only one run of support for Duffy, whose only major blemish was a Mike Napoli go-ahead home run in the bottom of the sixth inning. Duffy has a cool 2.66 ERA and 1.12 WHIP on the season. He'll face the Indians at home next week.

Danny Duffy struck out six over six innings but allowed four runs on 10 hits in a loss to the Indians Sunday.
The Tribe got to Duffy with the longball in the second inning, as Carlos Santana hit a solo shot and Yan Gomes blasted a two-run bomb. He was pretty good aside from that frame, but it was all the run support Corey Kluber and the bullpen needed. Duffy had allowed just four runs over his previous four starts and still boasts a 2.86 ERA. He'll get the Tigers at home in his final start of the first half.

Danny Duffy held the Twins to one run and four hits in 5 2/3 innings in a victory Monday.
Duffy was coming off a pair of losses in which he allowed a total of three runs, so some run support was welcome tonight. The Royals ended up scoring three times while he was in the game and three more times after he left, allowing him to move to 5-7 with a 2.60 ERA.

Danny Duffy allowed two earned runs over seven innings Thursday in a loss to the Tigers.
Duffy was sharp -- yielding just three hits and a walk while striking out five -- but he got only one run of support from the Kansas City offense as the Royals snapped a 10-game winning streak. Duffy will carry a 2.80 ERA and 1.05 WHIP into his next outing at home against the Dodgers. He's a must-own right now in standard fantasy leagues.

Danny Duffy fired seven scoreless innings in a 9-1 win over the White Sox on Saturday.
Duffy was excellent, allowing just five hits and one walks while matching a career-high with nine strikeouts. The southpaw has been erratic with his control at times since joining the rotation in early May, but starts like today show his upside. He'll face an important test in his next start when he takes on the AL Central-leading Tigers in Detroit.

Danny Duffy held the Cardinals to just one hit while striking out five over six scoreless innings in a 6-0 victory Monday.
Matt Holliday singled with two out in the first inning and he walked with one out in the fourth, but that's all the Cards could muster against the tough left-hander. Duffy had thrown just 85 pitches through six, but Royals manager Ned Yost elected to pinch-hit for him in the seventh as the club tried to tack on more runs. The southpaw has allowed one or fewer runs in four of his six starts. He'll get the Yankees this weekend.

Danny Duffy allowed six runs -- five earned -- over four innings Wednesday in a loss to the Astros.
Duffy has now been lit up in back-to-back outings since carrying a perfect game into the seventh inning May 17 against the Orioles. The 25-year-old lefty still has a solid 3.57 ERA and 1.25 WHIP on the year, but he faces a tough matchup next week in St. Louis.
