Duffy (6-10) pitched five innings, allowing one run on three hits while striking out seven to pick up the win against the Diamondbacks on Tuesday. He's now given up one run or less in each of his past five outings, though he hadn't picked up a win during that span until Tuesday's performance. Duffy has been exceptional this season, but has been saddled with receiving just 2.34 runs of support in his starts, lowest in the majors among pitchers with at least 100 innings. Tuesday's 12 run outburst must have been a breath of fresh air for Duffy, who lowered his ERA to 2.39 in the outing. He'll take on the Giants at home in his next scheduled start.
