Chris Davis struck out four times and walked Monday against the Rangers.
Davis has had a really tough time against his original organization, going 2-for-21 with 13 strikeouts in six career games versus the Rangers. The four-K tonight was his first of the season and fifth of his career. He's now fanned 103 times in 89 games this season.

Captain Robinson Cano has selected Chris Davis and Prince Fielder to join him in representing the American League in next week's Home Run Derby.
Cano still has to make one more selection, which he will announce Tuesday. The two picks he's made thus far were no-brainers, as Fielder is a two-time Derby champ and Davis leads all of baseball with 33 longballs.

Davis will be joined in the starting lineup by Joe Mauer, Robinson Cano, J.J. Hardy, Miguel Cabrera, Adam Jones, Mike Trout, Joey Bautista and David Ortiz.

Chris Davis launched his 33rd home run in Saturday's loss to the Yankees.
It was a two-run blast off left-hander Andy Pettitte. With 33 home runs and 88 RBI, Davis has already matched his career-highs in both categories, which was accomplished last season. The Orioles still have 74 games left this season.

Chris Davis continued to rake on Wednesday, going 2-for-4 with his 32nd homer in the Orioles' 4-2 win over the White Sox.
Davis' video game numbers in the first half continue to escalate, as he's now hitting .331 with 32 homers and 83 RBI. Davis also swatted his 26th double in the contest. There's little he could do anymore that would surprise anyone.

Chris Davis hit his 31st home run of the season in Sunday night's win over the Yankees.
Davis smashed an opposite-field shot off Hiroki Kuroda in the second inning for his only hit of the night. He continues to show no signs of slowing down after going 2-for-3 with two homers on Saturday. Davis is the first player in major league history to have at least 25 doubles and 31 home runs by the end of June.

Chris Davis slugged two home runs Saturday in the Orioles' 11-3 rout of the Yankees.
Davis hit a three-run shot in the bottom of the first inning (his 29th of the season) and a two-run blast in the bottom of the eighth (his 30th). The 27-year-old is on pace for 59 home runs and 156 RBI, and he actually seems capable of coming somewhat close to those numbers. His swing right now appears almost effortless.

Chris Davis connected for his 27th home run Friday in a loss to the Blue Jays.
It was a three-run blast against knuckleballer R.A. Dickey. Davis has seven home runs in his last nine games and is showing no signs of slowing down. It's hard to complain when he's producing, but it's worth noting that he has a 30/3 K/BB ratio in 19 games this month.

Chris Davis crushed his 25th and 26th home runs Wednesday as the Orioles pounded the Tigers 13-3.
Both were two-run shots; he had one off Rick Porcello in the fourth and another off Jose Valverde in the ninth. He also mixed in a ground-rule double, giving him five RBI on the day. After going eight games without an RBI earlier this month, Davis has come back with six homers and 14 RBI in his last eight games. He's also overtaken Miguel Cabrera for the AL lead in OPS.

Chris Davis went 2-for-4 and homered for the Orioles' only run Monday against the Tigers.
Davis has opened up a four-homer lead on Carlos Gonzalez for first place in the majors with 24. Miguel Cabrera is second in the AL after hitting his 19th tonight.
