Chris Davis went 0-for-3 in Monday's victory against the Angels.
The slugger is slumping, having gone 0-for-15 with no walks and six strikeouts over his last four games, dropping his average from .357 to .333. Everyone knew there was no chance that Davis' average would remain amongst the leaders through the end of the year, but the power isn't going anywhere.

Rick Porcello held the Orioles scoreless over the first six frames, but they got to him in the seventh with Davis' leadoff homer followed by two straight singles. Phil Coke then came on and let both inherited runners to score. Davis is now sporting a ridiculous .357/.440/.754 batting line with 52 RBI to go along with his 20 dingers.

Chris Davis went 4-for-4 with two home runs to help the Orioles beat the Nationals 9-6 on Wednesday.
Davis is having a ridiculous year. It's tough to say anything that hasn't already been said about the first baseman, so we'll just say this: in his current eight-game hitting streak, Davis is 18-for-30 (.600) with six home runs.

Chris Davis went 3-for-4 with his major league-leading 16th homer in a win over the Blue Jays on Friday.
The home run was a solo shot. Davis cooled down a bit after his ridiculous start to the season, but now he's red-hot once again. The 27-year-old slugger has gone deep in three straight games and five out of his last seven. Meanwhile, his batting line sits at a ridiculous .337/.426/.723 through 47 games. We could be witness a true breakout here.

Chris Davis went 4-for-4 with his 14th home run Wednesday, and the Orioles beat the Yankees 6-3.
Davis continues to tear the cover off the baseball, now hitting .329/.420/.690 through 45 games this season. He is tied with Justin Upton for the league lead in home runs, and he trails only Miguel Cabrera in RBI. Davis is showing that his breakout 2012 was legit.

Davis lost his share of the AL home run lead when Robinson Cano went deep in the first, only to move back into a tie by hitting his 13th homer an inning later. He has four homers in 10 games after slumping some in late April and early May.
