After going without a hit in five at-bats during Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader with the Dodgers, Gonzalez went 3-for-5 in the nightcap.
Gonzalez delivered a clutch one-out double in the ninth inning to put the tying run on base for the Rockies, but he was ultimately left stranded on third when teammate Ben Paulsen struck out to end the game. The three-hit day helped Gonzalez raise his average nine points to .226, but he still has a long way to go to make up for his struggles over the first quarter of the season.

Gonzalez is out of the lineup Monday against the Dodgers, Jenny Cavnar of ROOT Sports reports.
It looks like a routine day of rest for Gonzalez, who hit just .235 with seven RBI and two home runs in the month of May. Brandon Barnes will get the call in right field Monday against Dodgers' starter Clayton Kershaw.

Gonzalez (illness) is in the lineup for Tuesday's game in Cincinnati.
Gonzalez was out of the lineup Sunday against the Giants, and was then a late scratch for Monday against the Reds. He seems to have moved past his stomach issue, as he'll start in right field and bat third Tuesday night.

Gonzalez was a late scratch Monday due to illness, MLB.com's Thomas Harding reports.
Gonzalez was originally in Monday's lineup after getting Sunday off, but he'll sit once again as a result of a late lineup switch. Illness appears to be the culprit here, so consider Gonzalez day-to-day heading into Tuesday's matchup.

Gonzalez went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and a solo homer in the 7-1 win over the Dodgers Saturday.
That makes for four runs, two homers, and a stolen bag in the three-game series against the Dodgers thus far. His production correlates with a move-up in the order and that may be giving him the confidence he needs to be the superstar player he can be.

Gonzalez connected on a go-ahead three-run homer in the top of the ninth inning to lift the Rockies to a 5-4 victory over the Dodgers on Thursday, ending the team's 11-game losing streak.
The homer was just Gonzalez's third of the season and his first since April 25, providing a needed confidence boost for the former star outfielder. Gonzalez also walked twice in the contest to raise his on-base percentage to .261, but that mark is still well below what the Rockies were banking on this season. Though he was the hero Thursday, Gonzalez may need to post several quality at-bats in a row before reemerging as a worthy target in daily formats.

Gonzalez is out of the lineup Sunday against the Dodgers, MLB.com's Thomas Harding reports.
Gonzalez, who has just a .321 OPS against lefties this season, will take a seat with southpaw Clayton Kershaw on the mound for the Dodgers. Charlie Blackmon will move over to right field, while Drew Stubbs will draw the start in center.

Gonzalez is not in the lineup for Game 2 of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Diamondbacks.
After a 1-for-3 showing in the matinee, Gonzalez will head to the bench for Game 2 with lefty Robbie Ray due up for Arizona. Charlie Blackmon will move over to right field as Drew Stubbs steps in to man center. Gonzalez is 2-for-12 against southpaws so far this season and will likely continue to be heavily shielded from left-handed pitching.
