Gonzalez was cleared of any structural damage to his hand after X-rays following Sunday's game came back negative, Nick Groke of The Denver Post reports.
Gonzalez said he first suffered the injury while swinging during a third-inning at-bat, but he initially stayed in the game before being pulled two innings later when he was still experiencing some soreness. The Rockies have officially diagnosed Gonzalez with a mild left hand sprain, and for now, the team appears optimistic that the outfielder won't be sidelined for long. In fact, with the team off day Monday, it's possible that Gonzalez could be good to go by the time the Rockies open up their series Tuesday with the Diamondbacks.

Gonzalez suffered a mild left hand sprain in Sunday's contest against the Brewers and is considered day-to-day, Nick Groke of the Denver Post reports.
Gonzalez injured his hand running into the wall in right field, and exited the game after being examined by the trainer in the bottom of the frame. He looks to have avoided a major injury, and it appears possible he won't miss much time because of it.

Gonzalez exited Sunday's game prior to the fifth inning with an apparent hand injury, Nick Groke of the Denver Post reports.
Gonzalez was looked at by trainers in the bottom of the fourth inning after running into the wall in the top of the frame, and was ultimately pulled. The nature of the injury hasn't been specified yet, but the team should reveal more information in the near future.

Gonzalez hit a three-run homer in the first inning of Thursday's loss to the Astros.
Gonzalez has now gone yard in three consecutive games, with those three homers registering as his only three hits during that span. The right fielder hasn't noticed much recovery in the batting average department over the past week, but the power surge has helped him raise his slugging percentage 34 points in those three games.

Gonzalez homered in his second straight game Wednesday against the Astros, raising his total for nine to the season.
Gonzalez hasn't had a truly breakout performance this season (he's only had one three-hit game), but he's at least started to bear some resemblance to a two-time All-Star. Through 64 plate appearances in June, Gonzalez is hitting .310 with five homers, 11 RBI, and eight runs scored.

Gonzalez went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in the Rockies' loss to Houston on Tuesday afternoon.
He went deep against Astros rookie Vincent Velasquez, leading to the young starter's departure prior to the conclusion of the fifth inning. Since Memorial Day, Gonzalez has lifted his season OPS from .611 to .710, while he's now homered four times in his last 10 games.

Gonzalez singled twice, drove in a run, and scored another in Tuesday's win over the Cardinals.
Gonzalez has generated multi-hit efforts in five of his last seven starts, with his batting average jumping from .215 to .251 in the process. With only two steal attempts so far this season, Gonzalez probably can't be viewed as much of a five-category contributor any longer, but he's gradually starting to look like a stud with the bat again. Even if the power doesn't reappear to the extent we've seen in previous seasons, the run-scoring and RBI opportunities should remain plentiful while he remains nestled into the cleanup spot between Troy Tulowitzki and Nolan Arenado.

Gonzalez homered and drew a walk for the second straight game as the Rockies fell by a 3-2 count in Sunday's series finale against the Marlins.
After looking lost at the plate for much of the first two months of the season, Gonzalez has flashed his star potential during the Rockies' ongoing homestand. Over his last six games, CarGo is 9-for-23 with three extra-base hits, four RBI, a stolen base, and a 4:4 strikeout-to-walk ratio. With his season line steadily trending upward and his health holding up to this point, Gonzalez might make for an attractive trade target in certain fantasy formats.

Gonzalez went 2-for-4 with his a walk, his fifth homer of the season, and three RBI.
It was among the most productive games of the season for Gonzalez, who seems to have had the light turn on within the past couple of weeks. He extended his hitting streak to four games Saturday, and has reached base a total of 10 times during that span. His overall season line (.239/.317/.361) doesn't look particularly impressive just yet, so now might represent a good time to buy low on the two-time All-Star while his overall value still remains somewhat depressed.

Gonzalez went 2-for-4 in a losing effort against the Marlins on Friday night.
The overall production remains disappointing for Gonzalez, who has been healthy enough to play 49 games for the Rockies this season. Since the start of a series against the Dodgers on May 14, Gonzalez is hitting .293/.391/.400 (.791 OPS) with two homers, seven RBI, and two steals over the last 20 games. That production would translate to 17 homers and 17 steals over a full 162-game slate, so he appears to be trending in the right direction with his recent performance. Thus far, the lack of power output can be directly linked to a career-high 51.4% groundball rate (career 45.2%) and the lowest hard-hit ball rate (28.4%) since his 2008 campaign with the A's (27.0%).
