Nimmo is out of Tuesday's lineup against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Nimmo has only registered three at-bats against left-handed pitchers this season. Wei-Yin Chen gets the start Tuesday for the Marlins, meaning Nimmo will head to the bench. The Mets will face another left-hander Wednesday so don't be surprised if Nimmo doesn't start for a second straight day.

Nimmo, who was out of the lineup Sunday against the Cubs, is back in the starting lineup Monday against the Marlins, MLB.com's Anthony DiComo reports.
EDGE Analysis
With righty Tom Koehler on the bump, Nimmo starts in left field, batting seventh, putting Juan Lagares to the bench. Nimmo has provided the Mets a boost the past several games and if he remains hot, he should continue to see consistent playing time.

Nimmo is out of the lineup Sunday against the Cubs, MLB.com's Anthony DiComo reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nimmo had started each of the previous seven games, kicking off his big-league career with an 8-for-28 mark that includes a homer and four RBI. Most of Nimmo's starts came as a result of Curtis Granderson missing time due to a calf injury, but with Granderson back in the lineup Sunday, the rookie could see his at-bats fall by the wayside.

Nimmo went 2-for-5 with a three-run homer in Friday's 10-2 victory over the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie led off and had the most impressive bomb of the Mets' five-homer barrage, smashing a fourth-inning Jason Hammel offering 435 feet to right field and plating Wilmer Flores and Travis d'Arnaud in the process. After going hitless in his first major league game on June 26, Nimmo has reached safely in all five subsequent contests, with multi-hit efforts in two of them. With Michael Conforto relegated to Triple-A for the time being and Curtis Granderson on the shelf with a calf injury, opportunity appears to be plentiful for Nimmo for the time being.

Nimmo is in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Nationals, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Curtis Granderson was scratched from Wednesday's lineup which placed Nimmo onto the field, where he will play in left and bat seventh. Nimmo has started the previous three games after being called up from Triple-A Las Vegas on Saturday, going 3-for-12 during that span.

Nimmo is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Nationals, Adam Rubin of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nimmo will get the night off in favor of Alejandro De Aza after starting the previous three games since being called up. The 23-year-old is a decent 3-for-12 with one run scored and just two strikeouts through three games.

Nimmo will bat seventh and start in right field in his MLB debut Sunday against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Nimmo was recalled by the Mets on Saturday, but didn't make it into the starting lineup for that contest. The 23-year-old will work his way into the fold Sunday, however, after posting a .917 OPS over 250 at-bats at the Triple-A level this season. The Mets are looking for offense wherever possible, and if Nimmo can provide some, there's a chance he could earn regular starts for manager Terry Collins.

Nimmo is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
The Mets sent Michael Conforto down Saturday and brought up Nimmo, but manager Terry Collins will not immediately slot Nimmo into the starting lineup. Alejandro De Aza will instead start in left field while Nimmo will be available off the bench. However, it's hard to imagine the team brought Nimmo up to ride the bench, so expect him to serve as the primary option in left moving forward.

Nimmo was called up from Triple-A Las Vegas on Saturday, Matt Ehalt of the Bergen Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Mets have decided to hit the reset button on Michael Conforto and give Nimmo, the 13th overall pick in 2011, his first taste of major league action. Nimmo has hit .328/.409/.508 with five home runs with Triple-A Las Vegas this season, matching his home run total from all of last season (104 games between three affiliates). However, he's never hit more than 10 home runs in a season, and the 23-year-old has been caught on the basepaths more times than he's been successful this year (5-for-12). Expectations should be kept in check, but Nimmo's advanced approach and plate discipline should carry him early on in his career.

Nimmo has been red-hot at the plate recently, and with Michael Conforto (wrist) and Juan Lagares (thumb) each nursing injuries and the Mets struggling to score runs, he could be in line for a promotion to the majors.
EDGE Analysis
Nimmo blasted three home runs last week and has upped his line to .330/.411/.529 for the season. Conforto and Lagares are trying to play through their injuries with minimal success, so it's that one or both land on the disabled list paving the way for Nimmo to be called up.
