Nimmo, 22, is batting .292/.356/.389 with two home runs and 13 RBI through 54 games for Double-A Binghamton. Kimmo missed about a month with a knee injury earlier this season, and has not really gotten going in 2015. He has fanned 49 times in 54 contests at this level, while failing to steal a single base.

Nimmo (knee) has rejoined Double-A Binghamton, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports. Nimmo missed nearly about a month due to a sprained ACL, but has finally retaken his spot with Double-A Binghamton. The outfielder remains one of the top prospects in the Mets' organization, and could find his way to the majors within a couple seasons if he can continue to display his talents moving up the minor league ladder.

Nimmo (knee) is scheduled to play Sunday for High-A St. Lucie, ESPN's Adam Rubin reports. It will amount to a short-term rehab assignment for Nimmo, who opened the season with Double-A Binghamton before the knee injury set in. The 22-year-old was slashing .297/.368/.420 over 155 plate appearances with Binghamton and is viewed as one of the Mets' top outfield prospects.

Nimmo has been diagnosed with a sprained ACL in his left knee, but can resume baseball activities once the pain subsides, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports. Nimmo was checked out by two doctors regarding the issue, taking a special trip to New York to visit with the Mets' team doctor. It appears he's avoided a major injury, but he'll likely rest a while as he recovers. The young outfielder had swung the bat well at Double-A this season prior to the injury, batting .297 with two home runs and nine RBI in 34 games.

Nimmo will have his left knee checked out by team doctors in New York early next week, ESPN New York reports. Nimmo exited Friday's game at Double-A Binghamton early after stepping on first base while attempting to beat out an infield hit. The Double-A doctor indicated a belief that the injury isn't serious, but the team will take a cautious approach anyway and have him checked out by the Mets' team doctor as well.

Nimmo, 22, is batting .351 with one home run and four RBI over the last 10 games for Double-A Binghamton. Kimmo started off slow, but rebounded quickly. While he has struck out 15 times over the first 15 games, he remains one of the top hitting prospects in the Mets system.

Nimmo hit his first homer of the year for Double-A Binghamton Sunday. That makes one hit on the year so far for Nimmo, who's batting 1-19 with just one walk, notably for him. Nimmo struggled at this level last year and has been a slow starter, so chalk this up to a mere four games of low production.

Nimmo will begin 2015 where he ended 2014, at Double-A Binghamton, Just Mets.com reports. Nimmo was expected to start the year at Triple-A Las Vegas, so this decision is a bit surprising. The move is likely being made because Nimmo struggled at this level a bit after his promotion, so they want to see him have success there before moving up. Nimmo could see the majors sometime late this season.

Nimmo, who should be ready to play Saturday after being sidelined a deep muscle bruise on his left thumb, was assigned by the Mets to their minor league camp Friday, ESPN New York reports. The move comes as little surprise, as it was only a matter time before it was made. Nimmo is projected to begin 2015 at Triple-A Las Vegas and has an outside shot to reach the majors before the end of the season.

Nimmo, sidelined for nearly a week with a deep muscle bruise on his left thumb, will take dry swings Wednesday, ESPN New York reports. Nimmo is still not ready to face live pitching but will swing a bat Wednesday. Assuming he has no pain, he should progress to batting practice and then game action shortly.
