Bartolo Colon surrendered three earned runs over seven innings Tuesday in a loss to the Marlins. Colon was a little sharper than his last turn, when he coughed up seven runs in 4 2/3 innings at Coors Field, but the Marlins got to him for two runs in the bottom of the first inning and seven hits total on the night. Colon now has a 5.36 ERA in seven outings this season along with a rough 2-5 record.

Bartolo Colon was emptied for seven runs in 4 2/3 innings, taking the loss on Thursday against the Rockies. Colon will be sore after the beating he took at Coors Field. Overall, he allowed ten hits and a walk while striking out three. Carlos Gonzalez hit a first-inning solo home run to put the Rockies up 1-0 and it was all downhill from there. Colon will look for relief on the road against the Marlins in his next start.

Wednesday's game between the Mets and Phillies has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game has been rescheduled for June 2. Bartolo Colon presumably will be pushed back to Thursday for the Mets, while Kyle Kendrick will be moved back to Friday.

Bartolo Colon pitched seven innings of one-run ball and struck out eight to defeat the Cardinals on Thursday. Colon drew the reeling Cardinals at a good time, and he turned in his high-strikeout game as a Met. He has a 26/3 K/BB ratio in 32 innings for the season, but since he has given up six homers, his ERA stands at 4.50.

Bartolo Colon gave up three earned runs in seven innings Saturday in a loss to the Braves. Colon struck out six batters and issued just one walk, but he was otherwise far too hittable. The right-hander is now 0-3 with a 5.40 ERA and 1.48 WHIP in four starts with his new team. A tough date with the Cardinals is next.

Mets manager Terry Collins said Wednesday that Bartolo Colon (back) will be fine to make his start on Saturday. Colon dealt with a back issue during his last outing, which had Saturday's start up in the air. Evidently, though, the rotund right-hander has progressed enough to where his availability for the start versus the Braves over the weekend isn't in question.

Bartolo Colon is questionable for his Saturday's scheduled start due to a back issue. Kristie Ackert of the New York Daily News was told by a Mets source that Colon's back "was a factor" in his last outing when was blasted for nine runs on 11 hits over five innings, and "it remains to be seen" if he'll be ready Saturday. Colon has been receiving treatment on his back the past two days and the club will make a determination on his status later this week. They do have an off day Thursday, so Colon could easily be pushed back.

Bartolo Colon allowed nine runs on 11 hits over five innings in Sunday's loss to the Angels. Colon served up three homers and four runs in the game's first inning, and it didn't get much better from there. He finished with 11 hits allowed, including four homers, and two walks issued. He'd been much better in his first two starts of the year, and he'll try to get back on track against the Braves next weekend.

Bartolo Colon pitched seven scoreless innings, allowing just six hits, as the Mets topped the Braves 4-0 on Tuesday. Colon didn't allow a runner to advance past second base in his seven innings, keeping the Braves to five singles and a Freddie Freeman double while not issuing a single walk. The burly right-hander also struck out five on the night. An interleague matchup at the Angels is on tap for Sunday.

Bartolo Colon turned in a quality start in his Mets debut against the Nationals on Wednesday, allowing three runs over six innings, but took the loss. Colon struck out four and allowed six hits, including two solo home runs to Ian Desmond and opposing pitcher Gio Gonzalez. Colon, coming off of two solid seasons with the Athletics, inked a two-year deal with the Mets over the off-season. The 40-year-old should enjoy the similarly pitcher-friendly confines of Citi Field.
