FOX Sports' Jon Morosi reports that the Orioles met with Bartolo Colon's representatives Tuesday. They're one of a handful of clubs interested in the right-hander along with the Rangers, Mets, Mariners and Royals. Colon posted a 2.65 ERA and 117/29 K/BB ratio in 190 1/3 innings this past season. He'll turn 41 in May but still might be able to get a two-year deal.

Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that the Rangers are interested in free agent right-hander Bartolo Colon. But they are only willing to give him a one-year deal, so he may find better offers elsewhere. Colon, 40, posted a 2.65 ERA and 117/29 K/BB ratio in 190 1/3 innings this past season. He has also drawn interest from the Mets, Mariners, Orioles and Royals this winter.

According to WFAN's Sweeny Murti, the Mets met Monday with the agent for pitcher Bartolo Colon. But the general feeling is that the price will be too high. The Mets are hoping to bring in a new starting pitcher this offseason and Colon is among the better options still available on the open market. The 40-year-old right-hander posted a 2.65 ERA and 1.17 WHIP in 190-plus innings with the A's in 2013. He is also reportedly drawing interest from the Mariners, Angels and Royals.

ESPN Deportes' Enrique Rojas reports that the Mariners are interested in Bartolo Colon. The Mariners are expected to go all-out and continue to add pieces following the Robinson Cano signing, and Colon wouldn't be a bad option. Colon will turn 41 in May but is coming off a season where he posted a 2.65 ERA and 1.17 WHIP in 190-plus innings. He might only require a one-year deal.

Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com hears that the Angels "don't really have interest" in Bartolo Colon. Jim Bowden of SiriusXM Radio reported a week ago that the Angels were "in" on the right-hander, but Gonzalez hears that that's not the case "at least not at this point." The Halos lost Jason Vargas to the Royals and are desperately looking for at least one starter this offseason.

The A's are no longer pursuing Bartolo Colon. Oakland struck a two-year, $22 million free agent contract Monday with left-handed starter Scott Kazmir and there isn't much more room in the budget. Colon, 40, is likely drawing interest from multiple teams after posting a 2.65 ERA and 1.17 WHIP in 190-plus innings this year.

According to FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal, the A's are "not optimistic" about keeping Bartolo Colon. The writing was on the wall in November when the shallow-pocketed A's declined to make Colon a reasonably-priced one-year, $14.1 million qualifying offer. The 40-year-old right-hander posted a 2.65 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 117/29 K/BB ratio in 190 1/3 innings this past season and should cash in one final time this winter. The Angels are known to have interest.

Jim Bowden of SiriusXM Radio reports that the Angels are "in" on both Bartolo Colon and Bronson Arroyo, but are "not close" to signing anyone. The Halos have traded for a third baseman (David Freese) and signed a reliever (Joe Smith), but starting pitching remains their biggest need. Colon might only require a one-year deal, while Arroyo is looking for a three-year pact. It wouldn't be a surprise to see the Angels go after some starters with higher upsides, as well.

FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports that the Athletics want to re-sign Bartolo Colon, "but only at price they deem reasonable." The A's finished runner-up in the bidding for Tim Hudson, so they might be more inclined to bring back Colon now. The 40-year-old right-hander made just $3 million in 2013 while going 18-6 with a 2.65 ERA.

CBS Sports' Jon Heyman reports that the Athletics are planning to make a one-year offer to retain free agent right-hander Bartolo Colon. Colon said during the playoffs that he might be interested in playing three more years, but the A's are apparently only willing to go one year at a time. The 40-year-old made $3 million in 2013 while going 18-6 with a 2.65 ERA.
