FOX Sports' Jon Morosi reports that the Orioles met with Bartolo Colon's representatives Tuesday. They're one of a handful of clubs interested in the right-hander along with the Rangers, Mets, Mariners and Royals. Colon posted a 2.65 ERA and 117/29 K/BB ratio in 190 1/3 innings this past season. He'll turn 41 in May but still might be able to get a two-year deal.

The Mariners are expected to go all-out and continue to add pieces following the Robinson Cano signing, and Colon wouldn't be a bad option. Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com hears that the Angels "don't really have interest" in Bartolo Colon. Jim Bowden of SiriusXM Radio reported a week ago that the Angels were "in" on the right-hander, but Gonzalez hears that that's not the case "at least not at this point." The Halos lost Jason Vargas to the Royals and are desperately looking for at least one starter this offseason.

The A's are no longer pursuing Bartolo Colon. Oakland struck a two-year, $22 million free agent contract Monday with left-handed starter Scott Kazmir and there isn't much more room in the budget. The Halos have traded for a third baseman (David Freese) and signed a reliever (Joe Smith), but starting pitching remains their biggest need. Colon might only require a one-year deal, while Arroyo is looking for a three-year pact. It wouldn't be a surprise to see the Angels go after some starters with higher upsides, as well.
