Tomas Vokoun (groin) skated on Thursday morning for the first time since Monday. He ventured out onto the ice about 10 minutes into the morning skate and appeared to be testing his strained groin muscle. He should still be considered day-to-day.

"And when they put you in lineup, they put you in lineup. When they don't, then they don't. It's been kind of nagging, but it feels good now and hopefully it's going to stay that way." It's still unclear who will get the nod this afternoon in Chicago.

He is a solid number two fantasy netminder, and you should feel comfortable riding him down the stretch just like the Caps will be. It was Vokoun's first appearance since February 22, where he was pulled after 32:08 in a loss to Ottawa. With the win tonight, he now has a 26-12-2 record on the season.
