Pearson notched the game-winning goal in Saturday's 2-1 overtime victory over the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
Pearson didn't tally a goal in the month of January, but the winger has found twine twice in February. Although the 23-year-old has made strides in his third season, droughts have been aplenty of late, making it tough to trust him on a nightly basis. The former first-round pick can still be rostered in deep formats, with hopes he revisits his game that was useful in the beginning of the year.

Pearson scored his sixth goal of the season and had an assist in Thursday's win over the Flames.
EDGE Analysis
Pearson only logged 13:01 of ice time, but he made the most of it, scoring on the power play and firing two shots on goal. The 23-year-old has put up 19 points and a plus-9 rating in 37 games, playing a key role on a Kings team that holds a 10-point lead atop the Pacific Division standings. He doesn't score a ton, but Pearson's top-six role and reliable point production make him worth owning in deeper fantasy leagues.

Pearson assisted on both of Tyler Toffoli's goals in Tuesday's loss to San Jose.
EDGE Analysis
That's four points in six games for Pearson, who is having a decent season on the second line. While he's only scored four goals, Pearson's 16 points match a career high and his plus-9 rating is impressive. He doesn't shoot much, so don't expect many goals, but Pearson is capable of producing points at a decent rate in a top-six role and on the second power-play unit.

Pearson notched his third goal of the season and added two assists in Saturday's win over Edmonton.
EDGE Analysis
That's five points in four games for Pearson, who is up to 10 points on the season. The 23-year-old is currently skating on the top line and first power-play unit with Anze Kopitar, so look for him to continue producing. He's sporting a tidy plus-5 rating and is building off his impressive playoff performance from last season.

Pearson scored his second goal of the year and added an assist Tuesday in a 3-0 win over the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
The 2012 first-round pick hadn't made much noise on the scoresheet to this point, so it's nice to see Pearson put up a couple of points even if the helper was on an empty-netter. The 23-year-old still has longer-term appeal, but despite the nice game, he's a tough start in most formats right now.

Pearson is fully recovered from the broken leg that ended his season last year, the LA Kings Insider reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pearson was nearing a return at the end of last year before the Kings missed the playoffs so this shouldn't come as a huge surprise but it's good to hear he's suffered no setbacks in the offseason.

Pearson (leg) won't play in either of the Kings' final two games of the regular season, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.
The news doesn't come as a surprise after an X-ray last week showed that Pearson's leg hadn't healed as quickly as he had hoped. While Pearson still seems to be ahead of schedule in his recovery, he'll still require another X-ray next week before proceeding with the next step of his rehab. If the Kings qualify for the playoffs, Pearson could still be available at some point in the first round.

Pearson (leg) signed a two-year, $2.8 million contract extension with the Kings on Thursday, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.
The deal could turn out to be a steal for the Kings, who likely received a discount on Pearson since he's missed about half of this season with a fractured left fibula. The 22-year-old winger, who was a first-round draft pick by the Kings in 2012, tallied 12 goals, four assists, and a plus-14 rating in 42 games, and profiles as an ideal second-line player for the team long-term. It remains unlikely that he'll return before the end of the regular season, but he could be ready to play during the playoffs, should the Kings qualify.

Pearson (leg) underwent an X-ray Tuesday, which didn't show as much healing as he had hoped, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.
Pearson appeared to be making a bid for returning to the lineup before the end of the regular season, but those plans may have hit some friction with the news he received following his X-ray. While it doesn't sound like the winger is dealing with a major setback, the Kings haven't wavered from the three-month timetable Pearson was issued after suffering the injury Jan. 10. If his subsequent skates with the team continue to go well, Pearson could put himself on track to return for the first round of the playoffs.

Pearson (leg) believes he'll be able to return at some point in April, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.
Pearson won't play on the Kings' three-game road trip, but it appears he hasn't ruled out a return when the team heads back home April 2 against the Oilers. Even if a return for that game doesn't materialize, it's quite an amazing development that Pearson is even drawing consideration to play, as the Kings initially believed he would be lost for the remainder of the regular season and playoffs after fracturing his fibula in January. The young winger has rehabbed hard and has since resumed skating with the team, and if he's able to increase his activity in the days to follow, the Kings will have a nice addition to their playoff push.
