Pearson tallied an empty-net goal in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Senators.
Pearson's score was just added insurance for the Kings, who quelled any hopes of a late Ottawa rally with the marker. Though the goal was kind of a cheap one, Pearson will take what he can get these days, as he's lost considerable steam after tallying seven goals and nine points in October. Since his two-goal outing against the Blue Jackets on Oct. 26, Pearson has just five points across 21 games.

Pearson got off to a hot start with seven goals in his first eight games and earning Rookie of the Month honors for October but was nearly a healthy scratch before netting the game-winner Thursday. We'll see if this gets him back on the right track, though he's no longer skating with linemates Jeff Carter and Tyler Toffoli.

Pearson scored twice, his sixth and seventh of the season, in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Blue Jackets.
It took just eight games for the 22-year-old to eclipse last season's seven points, which came over the span of 25 games a year ago, and he should be in line for a lot more. The trio of Pearson, Jeff Carter, and Tyler Toffoli have continued to build on last year's success, and all three could put up huge numbers this season.

Tanner Pearson showed he could elevate his game to the highest level during his first playoff run with the Kings this spring, and the 22 year old is one to watch regarding his future fantasy potential.
Pearson went undrafted in 2011, but exploded for 91 points in 60 games during the 2011-12 OHL season and was selected at the end of the first round in 2012. The late bloomer had a productive season in the AHL this season with Manchester, amassing 32 points in 41 games, and clicked with fellow youngster Tyler Toffoli and veteran Jeff Carter on a superb second line during the playoffs. Pearson notched 12 points in 24 games during the post-season, and has the skills, speed, soft hands and drive to be a productive forward down the road.
