Pearson will receive another X-ray on his left leg in the coming days, Lisa Dillman of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Pearson suggested that he's progressing faster than anticipated from the broken fibula, but said he doesn't expect to receive an update on his condition until after the Kings' road trip wraps up March 30. It still appears highly unlikely that Pearson play again before the regular season draws to a close, though with his skate sessions beginning to increase in intensity, a return during the postseason might still be realistic.

Pearson (leg) skated briefly with the Kings during the tail end of Friday's practice, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.
Pearson has been skating over the last few weeks while he continues to steadily rehab a broken lower-left fibula. The Kings haven't authored an official timetable for Pearson's return, but in a best-case scenario, it appears the winger wouldn't be back until deep into the postseason. Pearson plans to increase the intensity of his workouts over the days and weeks to come, at which point the team may have a better idea of how much longer he'll be out.

General manager Dean Lombardi indicated that Pearson (leg) returned to the ice last week, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.
Lombardi is in the infancy stages of his rehab process after fracturing his left fibula in mid-January. He's still experiencing some swelling with his ankle, but it shouldn't inhibit him too much in his attempt to regain conditioning. Even so, a return before the end of the regular season has been ruled out, and it doesn't like the Kings are anticipating that he'll be available at any point in the playoffs, either.

Coach Darryl Sutter said Tuesday that the Kings are operating with the assumption that Pearson (leg) won't be available in time for the postseason, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.
The Kings had previously closed the door on the idea of Pearson returning before the end of the regular season, and now it looks like a return for the playoffs is off the table as well. It's probably for the best that Pearson doesn't try to beat his projected timetable of three months, as nothing would be worse for the 22-year-old than enduring an injury setback as a result of trying to come back too quickly.

Kings assistant GM Rob Blake indicated that Pearson (leg) is expected to miss the rest of the regular season after undergoing surgery on his fractured left fibula, Lisa Dillman of the Los Angeles Times reports.
With Pearson set to require three months of rehab time to recover from the procedure, that timeline would seem to make a return late in the postseason the best-case scenario for the winger. He'll likely finish his 2014-15 campaign with 12 goals and 16 points over 42 games.

Pearson (leg) will undergo surgery on his fractured left fibula later this week, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.
The Kings aren't offering a timetable for Pearson's return, but multiple weeks would seem to be the conservative estimate. The young forward has been getting around on crutches since suffering the injury Saturday night. Pearson previously broke his right fibula while playing in the junior level prior to the Kings' selection of him in the 2012 NHL Draft.

Pearson (leg) will be placed on injured reserve, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.
Pearson suffered a broken leg in the second period of Saturday's game, so it's no surprise that he will be headed to IR. The Kings are expected to recall Nick Shore to take his spot on the roster.

Pearson has a broken bone in his leg, according to CBC's Hockey Night in Canada. He left Saturday's game after going into the boards awkwardly in the second period.
His legs bent back underneath him and he left the game without putting any weight on his left leg. Prior to the game, he had been selected to appear in the rookie skills competition at the 2015 NHL all-star game coming up in Columbus. Stick him on your IR in keeper formats and cut him loose in single-year leagues.

Pearson snapped an eleven-game goal drought with a tally in a 4-3 loss to the Rangers on Thursday.
Pearson continues to struggle after picking up seven goals in October with just four points (three goals and an assist) since the start of December.

Pearson tallied an empty-net goal in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Senators.
Pearson's score was just added insurance for the Kings, who quelled any hopes of a late Ottawa rally with the marker. Though the goal was kind of a cheap one, Pearson will take what he can get these days, as he's lost considerable steam after tallying seven goals and nine points in October. Since his two-goal outing against the Blue Jackets on Oct. 26, Pearson has just five points across 21 games.
