Mason will defend the cage Tuesday night against host Winnipeg, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
This will be the fifth consecutive start for Mason as the Flyers appear to be fighting to the very end, despite their minuscule chances of making it to the postseason. Unfortunately for owners of the 28-year-old backstop, he hasn't inspired much confidence with just two wins and a cumulative .894 save percentage in the aforementioned stretch. His next opponent is a Jets team ranked seventh in home scoring at 3.17 goals per game, but alternatives will be aplenty on the 11-game slate if Mason doesn't do it for you.

Mason stopped 19 of 22 shots in Sunday's overtime victory over Carolina.
EDGE Analysis
It wasn't an overly busy night for Mason, but he made the necessary saves to get his team two points. His inconsistency has hurt his fantasy value this season, but Mason's 21 wins and .905 save percentage make him of value in most formats. The Flyers appear to be out of the playoff picture, but if the team does happen to go on some late miraculous surge, he would be worth inserting into your lineup.

Mason will be in the crease for Sunday's tilt against Carolina, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 28-year-old has been hot-and-cold lately, allowing four goals in two of his last three games, but pitching a shutout in the other. With the Hurricanes ranking 20th in the league with 2.57 goals per game, it seems like a hot day is more likely than a cold one Sunday.

Mason (lower body) will be available for Sunday's game against the Hurricanes, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
It remains to be seen if Mason or Michal Neuvirth will draw the start, but at the very least Mason will be available to back up Sunday. It's been a turbulent time for the 28-year-old keeper, as he pulled off a shutout against the defending champion Penguins, but that was immediately preceded and succeeded by four-goal losses.

Flyers GM Ron Hextall said after Thursday's game that Mason was pulled due to cramps, John Clark of CSN Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sure, if you call getting totally undressed by Taylor Hall "cramps." Mason appeared to do a bit more of a split than he intended as Hall put the puck past him, so this seemed like it might be worse than a cramp, but with the way Hextall downplayed it, perhaps he got off lucky. We'll leave him in the day-to-day category until we see him ipractice ahead of Sunday's game against Carolina.

Mason left Thursday's game against New Jersey, Dave Isaac of the Courier-Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mason left with what looked to be a lower-body injury. He wasn't having a good game before leaving, allowing three goals on 18 shots. More information about his status should come after the game or after practice Friday.

Mason will tend the twine for Thursday night's away game against the Devils, Dave Isaac of the Courier-Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mason has been outstanding since reclaiming the starting job, posting two shutouts and allowing a total of 12 goals in his last seven starts. But much to the chagrin of fantasy owners and probably the man himself, Mason has just a 4-2-1 record to show for it. He'll have a good chance at another victory though, as New Jersey currently ranks last in the NHL with 1.33 goals per game in March.

Mason saved all 23 shots he faced during Wednesday's win over the Penguins.
EDGE Analysis
Mason has started seven of the past eight games and allowed just 12 goals during that span with a .943 save percentage and two shutouts. Additionally he's surrendered two goals or fewer in five of those six outings. Unfortunately, Mason's strong play has netted him just four wins. Considering he posted a solid .921 save percentage over the previous three seasons, a bounce-back run to finish the year shouldn't be surprising. Looking ahead, Mason is an intriguing target for the 2017-18 campaign, especially since he's a pending unrestricted free agent.

Mason will patrol the crease Wednesday as the home starter versus the Penguins, Dave Isaac of the Courier-Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Flyers are white in the knuckles trying to hang onto a playoff spot, and Mason will be charged with slowing the league's top offense in his next start. Working against him is the fact that Philadelphia has been awful on the penalty kill, allowing at least one power-play goal in each of the past five games. Wednesday's slate only features four games, making it mission critical to choose a winning goalie in daily formats, but there's no strong sentiment that he'll be able to help the Flyers snap a three-game losing streak.

Mason saved just 24 of 28 shots during Monday's loss to Columbus.
EDGE Analysis
Mason had gone 3-1-1 with a .949 save percentage and 1.56 GAA through his previous five outings, but the strong stretch ended Monday. While the veteran's upside shouldn't be discredited, Mason's inability to string together prolonged stretches of solid play this season is concerning for his dynasty/keeper outlook. At this stage of the game, it's best to view Mason as a depth goaltender to plug in when Philadelphia lands in a favorable matchup. He's also a potential low-priced flier in daily contests in similar situations. However, it's ill-advised to count on him as anything more than a dice roll.
