Mason will guard the cage in Tuesday's home game against the Avalanche, Dave Isaac of the Courier-Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mason hasn't started since Feb. 9 against the Islanders, and wasn't playing particularly well before riding the pine for the Flyers' last six games, compiling a 2-4-0 record while registering an ugly 3.42 GAA and .886 save percentage over his last eight appearances. The 28-year-old netminder will look to get back on track in a favorable home matchup with a terrible Avalanche team that's 9-20-1 on the road this season.

Mason gave up three goals on 30 shots in Thursday's loss to the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
He can blame his offense's lack of support to some degree -- indeed, the Flyers have been in the midst of a mighty struggle to put pucks in the net. Still, it remains a fact of life that Mason has a 3.42 GAA and .886 save mark over his last eight appearances, and it doesn't get a whole lot better if you go back further in time. At this point, Mason should be deployed only with extreme caution in the fantasy world.

Michal Neuvirth is slated for backup duties Thursday, which means Mason will start between the pipes at home against the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
Mason was terrible in his last start Jan. 31 against the Hurricanes, surrendering five goals on 28 shots en route to a 5-1 loss. The 28-year-old netminder has been inconsistent at best this season, registering a mediocre 16-16-6 record while maintaining a 2.90 GAA and .900 save percentage over 41 appearances. He'll hope to bounce back in a home matchup with an Islanders team that's 6-10-4 on the road this season.

Mason gave up five goals on 28 shots in Thursday's 5-1 loss to Carolina.
EDGE Analysis
The 'Canes entered the All-Star break in a major slide, totaling just five goals in the five games prior, but Mason and the Flyers provided the perfect slump-buster, as they have all year. Mason has gone just 2-6-2 over his last 12 appearances, and he can't blame his offense (except maybe for Tuesday's sad 16-shot showing) -- he has just an .877 save percentage in that span. Fantasy owners should tread with great caution here.

Mason will tend the twine for Tuesday's matchup in Carolina, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mason has long been known as a wildly inconsistent goaltender, and right now he's enjoying a positive stretch, winning each of his last two starts while stopping 70 of 72 shots. While there is always a fair possibility that Mason turns in a stinker, the Canes have lost five straight and have seemingly forgot how to put the puck in the net, totaling just five goals during their losing skid.

Mason saved all 34 shots he faced during Wednesday's shutout against Philadelphia.
EDGE Analysis
New York entered the game as the second-highest scoring team in the league, so this was an admirable showing from Mason. He had shown well through his first three full seasons with the Flyers (.921 save percentage and 2.43 GAA), but 2016-17 has been a rough campaign. The veteran goalie has the potential to provide solid numbers, but you'll want to see him string together a few more solid outings before relying on him as anything more than a middling No. 2 netminder for your virtual club.

Mason will tend twine as Wednesday's road starter versus the Rangers, Jon Lane of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The enigmatic netminder was terrific his last time out -- he set aside 36 of 38 shots from the Islanders for a road victory Sunday -- but that was just his first win in a month -- 11 attempts. Additionally, Mason has saved only 43 of 50 shots between his latest pair of starts against the Blueshirts, and he'll be hoping that the third time is a charm since he's winless against them in the 2016-17 campaign.

Mason allowed two goals on 38 shots in a 3-2 overtime victory against the Islanders on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
It's been a really rough few weeks for Mason. Heading into Sunday, Mason was 0-6-2 with a .844 save percentage since Dec. 22. That streak dropped his record below .500 and ballooned his GAA to 2.95. But with Mason posting his best save percentage since Dec. 21, perhaps Sunday will get him back on track.

Mason will tend the twine for Sunday's away game against the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
Mason draws the start even after allowing a goal on four shots in relief of Michal Neuvirth on Saturday. Neither Philadelphia goalie has looked good in January, a month in which Mason still has yet to win a game or allow fewer than two goals in a start. He'll go against an Islanders offense that ranks ninth in the NHL with 2.86 goals per game.

Mason started the third period of Saturday's game against the Devils after starter Michal Neuvirth was removed for precautionary reasons. He allowed one goal on four shots.
EDGE Analysis
Mason has had a few poor performances of late and Neuvirth was being given a shot at the blue paint. There was no post-game update on the latter's health, but Neuvirth did miss 24 games this season due to a knee injury
