Mason stopped 34 of 35 shots Thursday en route to a 4-1 win over the Panthers. Although we must include the caveat that Mason's last three outings have come against Florida twice and Edmonton -- not exactly murderers' row -- he's still only given up four goals in that span. And the last two games have produced his first two wins of the year, which is nice to see as well. Look for the Flyers to keep rolling with Mase when the Avs come to town on Saturday.

Mason will be in goal for Thursday's game against the Panthers, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Mason -- making his third straight start -- will square off against the Panthers for the second time in six days. He gave up just two goals against Florida on Saturday, but will be looking for a different outcome after being saddled with the loss in that game.

Mason finally collected his first win of the year Tuesday, turning away 35 of 36 shot attempts in a 4-1 victory over the Oilers. Mason can finally breathe a sigh of relief now that he's got the monkey off his back. His inability to win in the early going has opened the door for Ray Emery, but Mase has looked more like himself over the last two games, so it wouldn't be surprising to see him rolled out again Thursday to face the visiting Panthers.

Mason will be in goal for Tuesday's game against the Oilers, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Mason will start his second straight game after giving way to Ray Emery in the previous four contests. Mason opened the season as the starter and appears to have gotten his job back, but he will need to play well to hold onto the role.

Mason stopped 28 shots and dropped to 0-4-1 on the season in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Panthers. This Flyers' defense will make it hard for any goalie to post superb fantasy numbers. Proceed accordingly.

Mason will return to the crease Saturday against the Panthers, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. If Mason hasn't already surrendered the title as the Flyers' No. 1 goalie to Ray Emery, he's standing on extremely shaky ground atop the team's depth chart. After Mason went 0-3-1 with a 3.83 GAA and .878 save percentage in his first five outings, Emery has made each of the last four starts, going 3-1 during that time. Mason will need to avoid another dud against the Panthers if he hopes to see regular action over Emery in subsequent games.

Mason turned aside 39 shots Tuesday, but allowed four goals in a shutout loss to the Blackhawks. Mason's been unable to find his way into the win column in five starts so far this season, with three regulation losses, an overtime loss and a no-decision to show for it. He can't deflect the blame onto his offense, either, as Mason's allowed 18 goals in five games so far this year.

Mason will start Tuesday against the Blackhawks, CSN's Sam Carchidi reports. Mason will look to get back on track after being pulled before the third period in his last start Saturday. He will take on a Chicago team that is off to a 3-0-1 start but will be playing without regular goaltender Corey Crawford, who is out with an upper body injury.

Mason was pulled from Saturday's game against the Stars after giving up four goals on 18 shots. Ray Emery started the third period, backstopping the Flyers to a 6-5 comeback win over Dallas. Mason is 0-2-1 on the season with a .865 save percentage and 3.78 GAA. With the defense in front of him, Mason isn't likely to put up very good individual totals this season. He should, however, begin to pile up the wins as the Flyers find their groove. If Mason continues to struggle, Emery could see some starts in his place.

Mason will be in the net Saturday against the Stars, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Mason has performed woefully in his first three starts this season (0-2-1, 3.30 GAA, .884 save percentage), but coach Craig Berube hasn't seemed to waver in his support of the goalie, who was inked to a three-year extension in January. Even so, it may be tough for Mason to come away with his first win Saturday, matching up on the road against a tough Dallas squad that has received stellar play thus far from its own No. 1 netminder, Kari Lehtonen.
