Mason gave up three goals on 25 shots in Sundays shootout loss to the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
It wasn't a great night for Mason, who was heavily outplayed by John Gibson and his 51 stops. Mason drops to 14-12-5 on the season with a .904 save percentage. The 28-year-old has proven he can absolutely steal a game for the Flyers, but he's also shown he can give up costly goals and play a detrimental role in a loss. Mason's a decent fantasy option overall, but his inconsistency might make you want to seek out someone more stable.

Mason (hand) will be the starting goalie for Sunday's game in Anaheim, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite having to leave Friday's game in San Jose with the injury, Mason was able to practice Saturday and is apparently feeling well enough to make his eighth start in a row. The 28-year-old backstop will face a Ducks team that sits in the middle of the road in terms of scoring, having averaged 2.68 goals per game to this point in the season.

Mason (hand) was able to take shots in Saturday's session, Tim Panaccio of CSN Philly reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mason was forced out of Friday's game against the Sharks with the injury. Given how recently that transpired, it's good to see him back to work in any capacity, but the Flyers will want to make sure that he feels OK after testing the injury. If the No. 1 netminder doesn't suit up Sunday against the Ducks, then Anthony Stolarz would be next in line to fill in.

Mason saved 11 of 12 shots before leaving with a hand injury after the first period of Friday's game against San Jose, The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
According to general manager Ron Hextall, Mason was "nicked up and we'll know more" Saturday. So, with the severity of Mason's hand injury unclear, It would be ill-advised to make any hasty roster decisions at this point. Anthony Stolarz saved 21 of 22 shots in relief of Mason on Friday, and the 22-year-old rookie might be a worthwhile add in weekly leagues for a potential start against Anaheim on Sunday.

Mason will be in the crease for Friday's tilt with San Jose, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 28-year-old hasn't been great this year with a .905 save percentage, but he's been even worse his last two times out, allowing seven goals on 32 shots. The Sharks put up the ninth most shots per game, but they only score 2.51 goals per game, 10th worst in the league, so Mason will have a tough challenge ahead of him.

Mason saved just 19 of 24 shots during Wednesday's loss to St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran netminder entered the game with a 9-2-1 record, .928 save percentage and 2.23 GAA through his previous 12 outings, but this was a daunting matchup. The Blues improved to 14-2-4 at home, after all. Mason remains a solid No. 2 goalie for your virtual club, and he's a strong start against the majority of opponents.

EDGE Analysis
Mason entered the holiday break having won just one out of his previous four contests that followed a stellar eight-game winning streak. The netminder will need to be on top of his game as he squares off against a St. Louis team that is averaging 2.77 goals per game, 11th best in the league.

Mason will defend the net against the Devils on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Mason draws his fifth consecutive start and second in as many nights. The Ontario native has allowed only three goals on 69 shots en route to a win and an overtime loss in his last two starts and can usually count on his offense for support. He may not need as much of it against a New Jersey team that averages only 2.28 goals per game, good for 26th in the league.

Mason saved 36 of 38 shots and three of four shootout attempts during Wednesday's win over Washington.
EDGE Analysis
With an 8-1-1 record, .930 save percentage and 2.15 GAA over his previous 10 starts, Mason entered the game scorching hot behind the surging Flyers. Remember, the 28-year-old veteran posted a solid .922 save percentage and 2.39 GAA over the previous two seasons, and he's slowly working his numbers back to that level. He's worth starting against the majority of opponents and projects to be an excellent No. 2 backstop for your virtual club going forward.
