Monahan tallied the only Calgary goal in a 2-1 loss to the Kings on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
After a fairly consistent 2014-15, Monahan has been a little more streaky this season, scoring in bursts. He does have 11 points in 10 February games, but seven of those came in two contests. He's certainly still a decent play, however, with 40 points in 58 games.

Monahan dished out three assists in a 6-4 loss to the visiting Ducks on Monday afternoon.
EDGE Analysis
Two of his apples came in what was a wild first period and helped the Flames to a 3-2 lead heading into the intermission. Even though Calgary's goaltending let them down in this one, the big center still managed to skate to a plus-2, which was the ninth straight game he's finished even or better. Through 54 games, Monahan now has 17 goals, 22 assists, a plus-2 rating and 129 shots on goal. He's on pace for 58 points, which would be just a touch shy of last year's 62-point breakout campaign.

Monahan had a nice night back with a goal on four shots, two hits and a plus-1 rating in Thursday's 6-5 win over the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
Monahan wasted no time getting back onto the scoresheet after missing a game as a healthy scratch for being late to practice earlier this week. He has now extended his point streak to four games, with three goals and four assists in that span. While the 30-goal scorer from just a year ago is having an off year thus far, he is surely looking to get on a roll here and regain some of his scoring touch from last season.

Monahan (suspension) will return to the lineup for Thursday's game against the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
After sitting a game Tuesday for team disciplinary reasons, Monahan is set to rejoin Johnny Gaudreau and Jiri Hudler atop the Flames' depth chart. He'll ride a three-game point streak (six points in that span) into Thursday's matchup with the Sharks, looking to extend it against a club allowing 2.75 goals per game at home this season.

Monahan (suspension) will be a healthy scratch for Tuesday's game against Toronto due to disciplinary reasons.
EDGE Analysis
Monahan along with Johnny Gaudreau and Lance Bouma will all be healthy scratches for Calgary Tuesday due to their late arrival to practice Monday. Markus Granlund, Joe Colborne and Jakub Nakladal will slot into the lineup against the Maple Leafs in their place. Monahan's next chance to return will come Thursday when Calgary plays at San Jose.

Monahan will likely be a healthy scratch for Tuesday's game against Toronto, TSN's Bob McKenzie reports.
EDGE Analysis
Monahan, Johnny Gaudreau and Lance Bouma were reportedly all late arrivals to the rink Monday, which appears to have landed them all in head coach Bob Hartley's doghouse. If all three players are indeed healthy scratches for Tuesday's contest, Markus Granlund, Joe Colborne and Jakub Nakladal will slot into the lineup against the Maple Leafs. Monahan would be sorely missed, as the 21-year-old has tallied 35 points through 51 games for Calgary this season.

Monahan came alive with a goal and three assists to go along with a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Hurricanes.
EDGE Analysis
Monahan's third-period tally capped a four-point night for the previously-struggling center while also giving him his best individual game plus/minus rating since Dec. 10. The 21-year-old had been frustrating owners with just three points in his last 14 games, but his ability to eclipse that total in a single night speaks to the offensive capabilities he possesses.

After a scoreless outing Sunday, Monahan now has three points in his last 12 games.
EDGE Analysis
Monahan had been fairly consistent up to late December, but has hit the skids a bit. After exploding for 62 points last season, it's unlikely Monahan will get to either his point or goal (31) total from last season. The entire Calgary offense has not rolled at the same clip it has after catching lightning in a bottle last season, so Monahan certainly isn't alone in falling back to Earth in 2015-16. Keep an eye on him, however, as he is still the linemate of Johnny Gaudreau, who is still piling up points at a high level.

Monahan notched an assist Thursday but the Flames fell to the Coyotes 2-1.
EDGE Analysis
Monahan had been slumping a little bit, with no points in his previous five games. He has taken a minor step back in production in his third year, as he is unlikely to equal his 31 goals or 62 points from last season, but still is on pace for about 55 points.

Monahan recorded an assist and finished as a plus-1 during Tuesday's 4-1 victory over Winnipeg.
EDGE Analysis
Monahan's assist came on the power play, only his fourth point with the man advantage this year (82-game pace of 9.65) after scoring 19 in 2014-15. This fact has much to do with Calgary having the worst power play in the league, scoring at dismal rate of 11.4%. Despite the Flames' struggles on the power play, Monahan is still on track to match his 62-point haul from last season, a sign of the 21-year old's development at even strength.
