Patrick Kane looked great in his return from a knee injury Thursday night against the Blues. He was flying all over the ice in his first game since mid-March taking a team-high six shots on goal and scoring a highlight reel goal in the 28:31 of ice time he received. Needless to say Kane is safe to activate.

Patrick Kane will be sporting a knee brace when he returns to the lineup on Thursday night. "Once you get used to it you're fine," Kane said. "There's guys that have probably played with this type of thing their whole career and even guys on our team that have played with it. I think you kind of get used to it as you start playing and skating with it." Kane last played on Mar. 19 but he's ready to return for Game 1 against St. Louis.

Patrick Kane skated on the third line with Bryan Bickell and Andrew Shaw on Tuesday. It was his first full practice with his teammates after missing the last 12 games of the regular season with a knee injury. "It was nice to do some drills that are game-like, whether it was three-on-twos up the ice or power play or defensive zone coverage, things like that to get back into it," said Kane.

Patrick Kane (lower body) skated Monday as he prepares to return to the lineup in Chicago's playoff opener on Thursday night. "I feel pretty good," Kane said. "I've had some time to rest my injury, obviously, the right amount of time, and with anything you want to make sure you're feeling good coming back. I think that's where I'm at right now. It'll be nice to get a couple skates with the team (Tuesday) and Wednesday and the pregame skate Thursday and get ready to go." He hasn't played since Mar. 19 because of a lower-body injury.

Patrick Kane (lower body) thinks he'll be fine for the start of the playoffs. Kane won't be back before the end of the regular season though. He hasn't played since March 19, but the silver lining is that he should be well rested for the postseason.

Patrick Kane is not doing anything hockey related at the moment. That said he is progressing in his recovery from a lower-body injury and according to Chicago coach Joel Quenneville, he is "right on course". That would be for a return once the playoffs start.

Patrick Kane (lower body) has been placed on the long-term injured reserve list. Kane will miss the rest of the regular season. That's not terribly surprising though given that the Blackhawks previously stated that he would miss at least three weeks, which at this point is basically all we have left. Chicago just has to hope that he won't miss too much of the playoffs.

Patrick Kane is expected to be sidelined for at least three weeks after he suffered a lower-body injury Wednesday night. He could miss the rest of the regular season after he was hurt in the second period of a 4-0 win against the St. Louis Blues.
