Nathan Horton says he is ready to go, if the coaches will let him play.
Horton has been held out of Boston's preseason games thus far. He admits he is ready to play if he can get the nod. Horton passed his fitness tests Friday and has practiced for five straight days. "I had no setbacks, so I just continue wherever they put me. I'm just going to practice, play, it doesn't matter," said Horton. "It's not my decision. It's just my decision to work hard and do the best I can."

Nathan Horton (concussion) was on the ice for the first day of training camp.
Horton suffered the concussion during the Stanley Cup Final in June but has been symptom-free and is ready to play this season. "I wasn't worried at all," Horton said. "I just feel like (the concussion) is in the past. I haven't even thought about it. With what I did on the ice or the fitness testing, it hasn't even crossed my mind." Horton should get 30-35 goals and 60 points with a very good plus/minus and some penalty minutes. Draft him accordingly.

Nathan Horton said he will be ready for the start of training camp after being knocked out of the Stanley Cup finals because of a concussion.
He said he is currently symptom-free and working out, but he has not skated yet. Horton also had some choice words for Vancouver defenseman Aaron Rome, whose hit injured him in Game 3, after he reached out to the Boston winger with a text after the incident. "If it was me, I wouldn't have thrown a text message someone's way," said Horton. "I'd have a little bit more respect to actually make a phone call." It appears as though there is still some bitterness following the series, but Horton's recovery is good news for perspective fantasy owners. We'll keep you posted.

The Stanley Cup arrived in Dunnsville, Ontario about an hour and a half later than expected.
The Cup was left in Boston and didn't arrive to the party until about 2:30pm rather than its scheduled time of 1:00. Several fans were upset with the delay and left before the trophy arrived, but those who remained did get to see Welland, Ontario native Nathan Horton parade through town in celebration.
