Smith is slated to start Monday's home game against the Sabres.
Smith, who has allowed 10 goals over his last three games, has picked up two wins in that span, including a 4-3 overtime victory this past Thursday against the Sabres in Buffalo.

Smith made 43 saves in Saturday's 3-2 loss to Pittsburgh.
The loss certainly wasn't his -- he only allowed one even-strength goal against a high-powered offence. Still, his season is all but forgettable; you just can't win on the ice or in fantasy with a stat line like his (13-37-5, 3.16, .902 heading into Saturday).

Smith will make his fifth consecutive start in net Saturday against the Penguins, Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic reports.
Smith has been faced with a barrage of shots recently, averaging 35 saves over the span. He's won each of the last two contests, and he'll look to make it a third Saturday. However, Smith will need to be up to the task, as he will take on a Penguins offense averaging 2.72 G/GP.

Smith stopped 32 of 35 and ended up with a 4-3 overtime victory Thursday against the Sabres.
Whoa, consecutive wins! This is only the second time all season that Smith has managed to win two starts in a row, and the last time was in early November. So it's been a struggle, but hey, this is a positive to build on.

Smith will be between the pipes for Thursday's game against the Sabres, Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic reports.
Smith has been playing his best hockey of the season thus far in March (2.33 GAA, .936 save percentage), but his offense didn't show up for him until Tuesday night against the Red Wings, with the goalie finally scoring a 5-4 overtime win. It was just the second victory for Smith in his last 17 outings, but he'll have a great shot at getting wins in back-to-back outings for the first time since November when he takes the net Thursday. The Sabres are the only team in the league with a worse record than the Coyotes, and rank last in scoring with just 1.78 goals per game.

Smith gave up four goals on 37 shots, but came away with a 5-4 overtime win against the Red Wings on Tuesday.
Well, that was unexpected. The Coyotes (along with the Oilers and Sabres) are the league's doormat, while the Wings are in strong playoff position, but Smith got some nice offensive support (or a bad game from Jimmy Howard on the other end -- you be the judge) and made some quality saves to deliver his first win since March 5, snapping a six-game losing skid. Curiously, he'd been much better over most of that losing streak than he was Tuesday.

Smith is in line to start Tuesday's game against the Red Wings, Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic reports.
Though Smith sports a 2.13 GAA and a .941 save percentage in March, he remains a risky roll while playing behind the Coyotes, who are 0-7-1 over their last eight games.

Smith stopped 41 of 43 shots in Sunday's loss to Vancouver.
Another terrific outing from Smith, who hasn't got much goal support of late. While he's stopped 109 of the last 114 shots he's faced (.956 save percentage), he's somehow still lost 15 of his last 16 games, dropping his record 11-37-5 on the season. Smith's .902 save percentage is on the rise, but with the team in front of him, don't expect a big increase in wins anytime soon.

Smith will start between the pipes Sunday against the Canucks.
Smith posted good outings in net each of his last two starts, but came up empty in the win column against the Kings and Penguins despite allowing two or less goals in each. He will start in the crease Sunday, looking to break a string of losses.

Smith made 34 saves on 36 shots in Saturday's loss to the Penguins.
Another great game from Smith, who has stopped 68 of the last 71 shots he's faced. Unfortunately, he's not getting much support and has now lost 14 of his last 15 games, dropping his record to 11-36-5 on the season. While his rate stats are trending upwards, Smith has a league-high 36 losses and is the starter on a team that just can't seem to win.
