Neuvirth stopped 34 of 35 shots Tuesday, but allowed goals on both New Jersey shootout attempts to take a 2-1 loss.On the bright side, that ends a streak of 10 straight regulation losses for Neuvirth. Of course, he's still dropped 11 decisions in a row. He's been putting up solid ratios lately, but his lack of wins and the volatile Buffalo defense mean he can't be trusted in most fantasy formats.

Neuvirth has been confirmed as the starter in goal for Tuesday's game against the Devils.Neuvirth enters Tuesday's match riding a 10-game losing streak. While he normally wouldn't be an enticing fantasy option, Neuvirth should have a decent chance at breaking the slump against a weak Devils attack that has dropped four straight games while tallying only five goals. He might be worth streaming in deep leagues Tuesday, but shouldn't be trusted beyond that.

Neuvirth allowed two goals on 30 shots in Sunday's 2-1 loss to the Flyers. It wasn't a bad outing for Neuvirth, but he was still dealt his 10th consecutive loss--all in regulation--nonetheless. With the trade of Jhonas Enroth, Neuvirth will be in line for the bulk of the starts, but his 3-15-1 record, 3.29 GAA, and .908 save percentage mostly cancel out any value increase he receives from being the No. 1 option for Buffalo.

Neuvirth will start in net Sunday versus the Flyers, Joe Yerdon of NHL.com reports.Neuvirth, whose last appearance came on Feb. 8, will look to snap a nine-start losing streak against a Philadelphia team that ranks 18th in the league in goals per game (2.7). While Neuvirth should be in line to serve as the No. 1 goalie going forward, his value is negatively impacted by Buffalo's shaky defense, which has contributed to his 3-14-1 record with a 3.37 GAA this season.

Following Wednesday's trade of Jhonas Enroth to the Stars, Neuvirth is in line to serve as the Sabres' No. 1 goalie the rest of the season, Paul Hamilton of WGR 550 reports. The Sabres received goalie Anders Lindback from the Stars in the trade, but he's already passed through waivers unclaimed this season and isn't expected to pose much of a threat to Neuvirth's job security. General manager Tim Murray more or less said after the trade that it gives the Sabres the first real opportunity to see what they have with Neuvirth, who has only appeared in 21 games with the team since he was acquired from the Capitals last March. While the promise of additional starts has Neuvirth's value on the rise, don't expect him to deliver useful results, as the Sabres are beginning to run away with the league's worst record and aren't showing any signs of improvement. He's turned in a 3-14-1 record and 3.37 GAA so far this season.

Neuvirth made 28 saves on 31 shots in Sunday's loss to the Islanders.
Neuvirth actually played pretty well considering the Sabres only had 10 shots on goal. While the 26-year-old gave Buffalo a chance, he incurred his ninth straight loss. Considering Neuvirth's given up 10 goals in his last three outings, the team is likely to return to starter Jhonas Enroth in the crease. If another back-to-back situation for Buffalo presents itself, we can't say grabbing Neuvirth for a spot start is a great idea, as he's managed just three wins in 19 appearances.

Neuvirth will start in net Sunday against the Islanders on Sunday.
Neuvirth will receive the start for the Sabres in game two of a back-to-back set. It remains to be seen if he shows any signs of rust, as the 26-year-old netminder hasn't started a game since Jan. 17. Neuvirth will be thrown to the lions Sunday, however, as the Sabres match up against the high-powered Islanders, who are fourth in the league in scoring at 3.02 G/GP.

Neuvirth (lower body) took part in the Sabres' morning skate and will be available for backup duties behind Jhonas Enroth during Thursday's game against the Blues, Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports.
The demotion of Matt Hackett to AHL Rochester on Wednesday suggests Neuvirth is over the lower-body injury that bothered him coming out of the All-Star break. Neuvirth finds himself behind Enroth on the depth chart for the moment, but with the Sabres just concluding a 14-game losing streak, coach Ted Nolan is hardly married to either of his goaltenders at this time. Both Enroth and Neuvirth should receive plenty of work in the weeks to come as the Sabres pray that they'll eventually stumble into a hot goalie.
