Neuvirth (lower body) returned to Flyers' practice Tuesday, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Neuwirth missed the team's last 20 games after landing on IR with a lower-body ailment in mid-November. The 28-year-old netminder stated following the practice, "It's been a long time, and for me right now it's about getting back to 100 percent and feeling good about myself again." While he remains without a clear timetable for an official return, it seems he's nearing the tail-end of his rehab.

Neuvirth was placed on long-term injured reserve Monday, Tim Panaccio of CSN Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Although he was designated for long-term injured reserve, Neuvirth will not require surgery, Tim Panaccio also reports. Prior to getting hurt, the 28-year-old had edged out Steve Mason in the win column, despite posting a worse GAA and save percentage. Neither netminder has impressed and can probably be counted among the bottom-half of goaltending options considering their inconsistent play time and poor performances. With Neuvirth sidelined, the Flyers recalled Anthony Stolarz from the minors.

Neuvirth will miss 4-6 weeks with what is officially being deemed a lower-body injury per general manager Ron Hextall.
EDGE Analysis
Neuvy's play has been far from stellar this year, so this injury should have limited impact within the fantasy hockey sphere. With Neuvirth out, Steve Mason could see an uptick in his number of starts and, in all likelihood, Anthony Stolarz will be called up from AHL Lehigh Valley. Stolarz has been solid in eight starts with the Phantoms this season, posting a 2.39 GAA to go along with a .927 save percentage.

Neuvirth left Saturday's game against the Wild with an apparent groin injury and will not return, Dave Isaac of the Courier-Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Steve Mason came in to replace Neuvirth after the latter sprawled his legs awkwardly while making a save on Mikael Granlund. The play from both goalies in Philadelphia has been mediocre at best this season, so this injury hopefully won't affect many fantasy owners aside from those in deep leagues.

Neuvirth will start between the pipes in Saturday's home game against the Wild, NHL.com's Adam Kimelman reports.
EDGE Analysis
Neuvirth was terrible in his last outing, allowing five goals on just 17 shots in last Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Canadiens. The 28-year-old netminder will look to bounce back in a tough matchup with a Wild team averaging 3.08 goals per game this season, sixth in the NHL.

Neuvirth will embark on his fourth consecutive start Saturday, fielding shots from the Canadiens on the road, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Neuvirth's on a roll with wins in the last three games, but one can expect the Canadiens to play angry in the upcoming contest -- the Habs were shut out by the Blue Jackets on Friday and ended up allowing 10 goals (yep, you read that correctly).

Neuvirth stopped 25 of 27 shots en route to a 3-2 shootout win over the Islanders on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Neuvirth's triumph in Brooklyn is his third straight win despite allowing a combined eight goals on 81 shots during that span. Considering he's made four of the last five starts for Philly, it's well within reason to say that Neuvirth has distanced himself some from Steve Mason for the starting gig, although it wouldn't be surprising to see the Flyers keep a short leash on him and not hesitate to turn to Mase the next time Neuvirth falters.

Neuvirth will defend the goal for Thursday night's matchup with the Islanders, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Don't let the 3-1 record fool you, Neuvirth has been pretty awful this year. His 3.64 GAA and .865 save percentage are among the worst in the league, he's been pulled from two starts, and he has managed to pull off his three wins on the back of Philadelphia's red-hot offense. He could get the win Thursday, but it probably won't be because he played a great game.

Neuvirth saved just 22 of 25 shots during a win against Detroit on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Neuvirth has allowed three or more goals in four of his six starts this season and owns an underwhelming .881 save percentage to start the year. With Steve Mason also struggling for Philly (.878 SV% and 3.46 GAA), Neuvirth isn't going to hand over the crease completely just yet. However, it would be wise to be selective with who you start Neuvirth against until he turns his rough stretch around.

Neuvirth will be between the pipes against the Red Wings on Wednesday, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Neuvirth has already been yanked from a pair of games this season and has posted an abysmal 3.84 GAA in all five appearances. Although the Red Wings are averaging just 28.4 shots on goal per game, they have won six of their last eight contests and will be a tough matchup for the netminder. In addition to concerns about his performance, owners should also note the lack of a clear No. 1 in Philly, which limits Neuvirth's fantasy value.
