Kyle Turris says he will deal with any potential payback from Boston's Joe Corvo tonight.
Corvo is not happy that Turris was not suspended for a hit the Ottawa forward delivered to the defenseman Saturday night. It's a hit that Corvo says has left him with a headache the last couple days. After Monday's practice, Corvo indicated he wanted to fight Turris. That was before Bruins' brass likely told him to cool his jets a bit.

Kyle Turris will make his return to Phoenix on Tuesday night.
The Coyotes third overall choice in 2007 is enjoying life as a member of the Ottawa Senators following last month's trade out of the desert. Turris and Phoenix GM Don Maloney butted heads during contract talks and the two sides had different outlooks on where the 22-year-old forward would fit into the lineup. Turris has felt much more comfortable with Ottawa because he has been given the opportunity to be a top-six player. He has 13 points and a plus-11 rating in 18 games since the deal and should be extra motivated for Tuesday's contest.

Kyle Turris had his second straight two-point night with a goal and an assist as the Ottawa Senators eased past the San Jose Sharks 4-1 on Thursday.
The young center has four goals on the year (all with Ottawa), with three of them coming in the past four games. The third overall pick in the 2007 draft has also notched 13 points in 16 games with the Sens, and he's not a bad guy to scoop up and run with over the next few weeks as he has a very high ceiling (granted, not shown yet for sustained periods at the NHL level). Colin Greening had two goals in the win to give him 11 on the year. Erik Karlsson also notched his seventh of the year, and the league's top offensive defenseman now has 45 points in 48 games. Jason Spezza chipped in with two helpers.

Kyle Turris has fit in nicely as Ottawa's second line center since being acquired from Phoenix.
He has notched three goals and eight assists in 15 games with the Senators, which has helped provide the club with some depth behind top pivot Jason Spezza. Whether or not he can maintain this pace for the remainder of the year on a surprisingly hot Senators squad is another question, but he should warrant some immediate attention from perspective fantasy owners.

Turris assisted on Daniel Alfredsson's 15th of the season late in the first period and later scored the game-winner early in the third. Alfredsson registered a goal and an assist in the win while Jason Spezza tallied for the 20th time.

Kyle Turris scored his first goal as a member of the Ottawa Senators on Thursday.
Turris also recorded an assist, giving him six points in eight games with his new club. The Senators took a significant risk when they acquired him and they've given him opportunities to succeed as a top-six forward. So far, he's rewarded the Senators for their trust in him. At this point, he's worth taking a chance on in standard leagues where he's a free agent.

Kyle Turris made a good first impression with the Ottawa Senators in Tuesday's win over Buffalo.
He collected an assist on Erik Condra's game-winning tally and earned a plus-2 rating in 16:10 of ice time, while enjoying a strong night in the faceoff dot with a 77.78 winning percentage. We'd still exercise caution before jumping at the opportunity to pick him up, but he appears to be off to a good start.

Kyle Turris will make his Ottawa debut on Tuesday night against Buffalo.
He will skate between wingers Nick Foligno and Erik Condra on the team's second line after being acquired from Phoenix this past weekend. Turris had no points in six games with the Coyotes prior to the move, but should be given a greater opportunity to succeed with the Senators.

Kyle Turris got his first taste of the new media scrutiny he'll be under as a member of the Ottawa Senators.
"I don't think I've seen this many cameras for a number of years now," Turris said, following the Senators' practice. "It's a lot different pressure, but I'm ready for it and I'm really excited to get started." The Senators took a huge risk when they traded away a second round pick and a top-tier defensive prospect in David Rundblad to get him. Turris comes with a lot of promise and hype, but also the fact that he did not live up to expectations during his tenure with the Coyotes. Turris didn't work well under coach Dave Tippett and Turris acknowledged that "things just didn't work out" after Wayne Gretzky was pushed out of the picture. Fantasy owners in standard single season leagues are advised to keep an eye on Turris, but not to pick him up at this time.
