James Reimer will play between the pipes against the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday. Reimer and Jonathan Bernier both had terrible nights in net in Toronto's 7-1 loss on Thursday. Before that, Reimer turned aside 35 of 37 shots in a 5-2 win over Colorado Tuesday night.

James Reimer stopped 35 of 37 shots in Toronto's 5-2 win over Colorado Tuesday evening. It was Reimer's third start in January but his second straight win. He now has a 10-6-1 record with a 3.01 goals-against average and .919 save percentage. Despite his impressive outing against the Avalanche, he is still just a backup for Jonathan Bernier.

James Reimer was steady, albeit not spectacular for the Maple Leafs in a 4-3 shootout win over Buffalo Wednesday. With the Leafs playing on back-to-back nights, Randy Carlyle's goaltending carousel stopped on Reimer's name and he stopped 27 of 30 shots for the win which improved his record to 9-6-1 on the campaign. With this result, Reimer's GAA becomes 3.06 while his save percentage is now .917.

James Reimer struggled mightily in a 6-1 drubbing at the hands of the Hurricanes. Reimer allowed six goals on 36 shots in what was his first starting assignment since December 21st. Both he and Jonathan Bernier have been victimized of late by a poor Toronto back end, making each of them shaky fantasy options for the moment. Reimer's record is now 8-6-1 while his GAA is 3.07 despite a .918 save percentage.

James Reimer will be between the pipes Thursday night against Carolina. It will mark his first start since Dec. 21 when he was pulled against the New York Rangers. Jonathan Bernier endured a pair of iffy performances, so Reimer has a chance to get back into Toronto's goalie picture with a strong outing. Unless he gets a shutout, Bernier will probably start Friday night in Washington.

Coach Randy Carlyle wouldn't name his starting goaltender Wednesday for Thursday's match-up with Carolina. However, it wouldn't be surprising to see James Reimer tend to the crease. Jonathan Bernier has started the past six games for the Leafs and he hasn't look good in his last two outings, while allowing nine goals on 56 shots. We'll let you if or when we get confirmation.

Although it is far from confirmed, look for James Reimer to get the start against the Hurricanes Sunday. Jonathan Bernier did not look overly sharp against the Sabres Friday night despite stopping all three shots in the shootout of a 4-3 victory. He looked weak on the Sabres' two first-period goals and gave up the tying goal with 24 seconds left in the game. Coach Randy Carlyle may turn to Reimer against Carolina as a result.

James Reimer was yanked after the first period in Toronto's 5-4 shootout loss to Detroit on Saturday night. Reimer isn't the only one at fault in this one, despite giving up three goals on 12 shots. Leafs defensemen constantly vacated the high-percentage areas on all four goals against them, which is certainly a good way to leave your goalie out to dry. In relief, Jonathan Bernier made 25 saves on 26 shots. Reimer has a 2.83 goals-against average and .924 save percentage on the season. It wouldn't be surprising to see Bernier, now healthy, in net against the Rangers on Monday.

James Reimer was a brick wall for the Maple Leafs in Thursday's 2-1 shootout win over Phoenix. Reimer stopped all but one of the 35 Coyote shots he faced and blocked two of three shootout attempts. His record improves to 8-5-1 with the victory while his GAA is now 2.69 while his save percentage is a sturdy .928.

James Reimer will get the nod for Toronto on Thursday. There was some confusion earlier in the day, but Reimer led the team out for the pregame warmup. He also played Tuesday, so this will mark his second straight start.
