Reimer (groin) is no longer listed on injured reserve, according to the NHL Media Site.
EDGE Analysis
Reimer will not start Sunday's game against the Islanders, but should serve as the team's backup for the contest. However, it's quite possible the netminder will return to the net Tuesday for the Maple Leafs as they once again take on the Islanders, but back in Toronto this time.

Reimer joined the Leafs late in Monday's practice, staying afterwards to take shots from some of the leafs healthy scratches, Jonas Siegel of TSN 1050 reports.
EDGE Analysis
Reimer has already been ruled out through the upcoming break, and doesn't have a definite timetable, but his presence at the end of practice and the fact that he took shots Monday certainly bodes well. His next chance to rejoin the lineup would come Sunday against the Islanders, but there's no guarantee that will be the case.

Reimer (groin) will at least be out through Dec. 25, Lance Hornby of the Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
This past Wednesday, Reimer initially appeared ready to practice, but that didn't transpire and he'll probably need to do more than a solo skate on the ice to convince the team that he's ready to face shots in a game. The Maple Leafs have an extra day off after Christmas, so that gives Reimer nine more days to recover before the next game.

Reimer (groin) was on the ice and it appeared he was going to take part in practice Wednesday, but that didn't wind up being the case, Paul Hendrick of Leafs TV reports.
EDGE Analysis
Reimer was on the ice with the team, but ended up just skating on his own and leaving before the practice. While it's still a step in the right direction, it's not as big as if he'd actually participated. The fact that he's not ready to face shots likely rules him out for Thursday's contest, making his next chance to return Saturday against the Kings.

Reimer (groin) participated in practice Wednesday for the first time since re-aggravating his groin injury in early December, Jonas Siegel of TSN 1050 reports.
EDGE Analysis
Reimer took a big step in the recovery process by returning to practice Wednesday, but the team will likely continue to bring him along slowly to prevent re-injury. The netminder's next shot to rejoin the lineup would come Thursday against the Rangers, but that seems like an improbable outcome. However, if he can avoid re-aggravation this time around, it may not be too long before he's able to return to the crease.

Reimer (groin) will be dealt with cautiously after previously re-aggravating the injury upon returning, Jonas Siegel of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
The nature of Reimer's injury was previously unknown, but on Monday head coach Mike Babcock clarified what had been bothering the goaltender during multiple stretches this season. Jonathan Bernier will start Tuesday's game with Tampa Bay, and it seems as though Reimer may be further from return than originally expected.

Reimer will not play in the next two games, Jonas Siegel of TSN 1050 reports.
EDGE Analysis
Reimer reportedly re-aggravated an injury that we believe relates to his undisclosed issue from late November, causing him to miss three contests before returning this past Thursday for a full game against the Wild. Considering that Jonathan Bernier is down in the minors on a conditioning assignment, the Leafs are currently rostering rookies Garret Sparks and Antoine Bibeau. As for Reimer, he'll at least have to wait until Dec. 15 to make his next appearance.

Reimer is considered day-to-day with an undisclosed injury, Sportsnet's Daniel Goffenberg reports.
EDGE Analysis
While the Leafs are being mum about Reimer's injury, they have responded by calling up Antoine Bibeau from AHL Toronto ahead of Saturday's road match with the Blues.

Reimer rebounded from Monday's poor performance, but still suffered the loss Thursday against the Wild, making 27 saves on 28 shots.
EDGE Analysis
Reimer came back down to earth against the Bruins earlier in the week, but turned in another solid fantasy outing despite taking the tough loss. The Maple Leafs' crease is Reimer's and that likely won't change if he keeps playing this way. He's allowed just a goal in five of his past seven starts.

Reimer will start in the crease Thursday night on the road against Minnesota, Jonas Siegel of TSN 1050 reports.
EDGE Analysis
Reimer gave up three goals in his last outing against the Bruins, but he had been on a tear prior to that, giving up two goals or fewer in eight start starts. Through 15 games he has given up just 2.07 GAA and has a superb .934 save percentage. He'll look to earn his eighth win of the season Thursday against the Wild, who have dropped six of their last eight games.
