Jakub Voracek netted a goal in Philadelphia's 2-1 win over the Senators on Saturday night. With 22 goals and 46 points, Voracek took a major leap this season. Warning, though: Even though he's a very promising player, he ended the year with a 17.1 percent shooting percentage, which is likely something that won't be repeated. Jason Akeson potted the other goal. Claude Giroux and Erik Gustafsson had the helpers.

Jakub Voracek has reached the 20-goal mark for the first time in his career. Despite the Flyers' disappointing season, Voracek has been a bright spot in the Flyers' lineup in this 48-game shortened season. "It's great to get the 20th, but, like I said before, I would for sure switch those goals for seventh spot in the East," Voracek said. The 23-year-old will be worthy of mid-round selection in next season's hockey drafts.

Despite the Flyers' disappointing season, Jakub Voracek has really been a bright spot in the Philly lineup. He has set a personal high with 19 goals (despite playing in only 44 games as compared to 78 games when he scored 18 goals) and has registered 43 points, just under a point-per-game pace. Voracek needs seven points in the Flyers' last four games to tie his points best of 50 accomplished in 81 games with Columbus in 2009-10. Needless to say, the 23-year-old is worthy of mid-round selection in next season's hockey drafts.
