Jakub Voracek has been skating with Sean Couturier and Max Talbot at training camp. It was thought that he would get an opportunity to play with Claude Giroux on the top line, but that spot has gone to Brayden Schenn so far. Voracek recorded 18 goals and 49 points in 78 games during his first season with the Flyers in 2011-12. Even though he may not benefit now from a top-line promotion he still has value as a superb playmaking and a power-play threat.

Jakub Voracek is slated to get a chance to play alongside Claude Giroux and Scott Hartnell in Philadelphia this campaign. "I played there a couple times last year when [Jaromir Jagr] was hurt," he said. "I think we worked pretty well." Voracek recorded seven goals and 20 points in 23 games with Lev Praha of the KHL during the lockout. He should be able to pile up points, mostly assists, if he stay with Giroux for the balance of the shortened season.

Jakub Voracek scored twice and registered an assist in HC Lev's 6-1 win against Salavat Ufa. Voracek now has six goals and 17 points in 19 KHL games. Before the lockout, he was scheduled to start his four-year/$17 million contract this season.

Jakub Voracek has recovered from a knee injury. He's resumed playing for KHL Prague Lev and even found the back of the net in their 2-1 loss to Slovan Bratislava. In other words, he should be fine to play for the Philadelphia Flyers if the lockout ends in the near future.

A Lev Praha spokesman told the Daily News that the team hopes to have Jakub Voracek (knee) back at practice this week. The Philadelphia winger hasn't played since Oct. 6 because of a knee injury. Voracek had seven points (one goal, six assists) in seven KHL games prior to getting hurt.

Jakub Voracek could be sidelined for about four weeks because of a sprained right knee, according to his KHL squad Lev Praha. The injury occurred on Saturday during the third period of a 4-3 loss to SKA St. Petersburg. Voracek has produced one goal and six assists in seven games overseas, but missing a month, or possibly more, of action won't sit well with Philadelphia nor Lev, who are both invested in his success.

While his agent claims that it might only be a one-week injury, Tim Panaccio reports that Jakub Voracek is telling his teammates that his knee sprain might be more serious. Injury reports are already tough to verify in the NHL, so overseas bits might be even tougher to rely on. The Philadelphia Flyers likely hope that his HC Lev team won't try to rush him back at the risk of future work.

Jakub Voracek contributed an assist for HC Lev in their 5-3 triumph over Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg. He has picked up a goal and five helpers in six matches with Lev Praha since coming to the KHL because of the NHL lockout. Erik Christensen posted a goal and an assist in the contest.
